Yes, that is correct. Question of how to replace header-right based on unique template. I knew I was almost there, thank you so much Christoph.

February 17, 2016 at 4:12 pm in reply to: How to Replace Header widget only on specific page template #179279selkinMemberPS: I have created a template page for this. I have registered the widget area with the appropriate changed phone number. I just don't know how to conditionally replace the header right widget with the new widget from the template page. I feel like I am close...
February 17, 2016 at 4:05 pm in reply to: How to Replace Header widget only on specific page template #179278selkinMemberYes, thank you Christoph. I have used widget logic before. I was trying to avoid the overhead of it. I would like to change the header right text from the default phone number on the site to another phone number if a certain template is used. If it is too difficult, I will use widget logic.
September 26, 2015 at 7:57 am in reply to: no scroll bars on iphone 4 & 4s using enterprise pro #166712selkinMemberStill at an impasse here.
The latest feedback is that
"on iphone 5 and 6 devices, when you turn the device on its side (horizontal orientation) you can no longer scroll sideways within the iframe . You can only scroll up/down.
When the phone is oriented in its typical vertical orientation, you can scroll both up/down and sideways."
Can anyone please help further with this? What can I do to make this iframe scroll/behave on all iphones? If anyone has a 5 or 6, can you give it a spin in both portrait and landscape modes and let me know what is going on please?
Thanks.
August 28, 2015 at 6:12 am in reply to: no scroll bars on iphone 4 & 4s using enterprise pro #163867selkinMemberQuite wanted to put this to rest. But...
A couple of people testing on 4s and iphone 5 experienced the iframe scroll "locking up". I can't replicate it on the 4s. If anyone can take it for a spin on their iphone, I would appreciate it...and any thoughts on why it might be locking up. Thanks.
selkinMemberCaught up on a couple of others issues, but will return to this soon.
August 25, 2015 at 6:40 am in reply to: How to move secondary sidebar above content on mobile devices #163409selkinMemberThanks Brad and Frobn.
Ok, so no triggering php from css.
@Frobn, thanks...I did not include this in the media query for 1023 yet...final code was pending both of your sage feedback.August 24, 2015 at 3:21 pm in reply to: no scroll bars on iphone 4 & 4s using enterprise pro #163345selkinMemberAfter a lot of testing and searching, adding the webkit line below to existing .content seems to have fixed the issue. So now the iframe is scrollable in iphone 4s!!!! I still need to make sure it doesn't cause issues in other ways, but I'm hopeful : )
@media only screen and (max-width: 480px) { .content { padding: 30px; -webkit-overflow-scrolling:touch; overflow:auto; }

August 24, 2015 at 10:39 am in reply to: How to move secondary sidebar above content on mobile devices #163310selkinMemberI have left original url working with php mobile check. Looks fine in my testing.
I also used the following approach as an alternative (hate using the "T" word again). Anyway, I used a clean install of outreach pro and assigned this in 860px screen.
@media only screen and (max-width: 860px) { .wrap { padding-left: 5%; padding-right: 5%; display: table; float: none; } .content-sidebar-wrap { padding: 0; display: table-footer-group; float: none; } .sidebar-secondary { display: table-header-group; float: none; width: 180px; }
Q: can I trigger php code using a css media query? If not, which of the two is the better approach and why (or is there some other approach)?

August 24, 2015 at 6:16 am in reply to: How to move secondary sidebar above content on mobile devices #163290selkinMemberI would like the secondary sidebar (alt sidebar, which is the LEFT sidebar) to appear above the content when displayed on mobile devices. ideally, anything tablet sized (portrait) and below.
In the page build/Genesis loop, content comes before sidebars. Swapping left/right sidebars with css still does not move the left sidebar's content before main page content.
This appears to be working...
remove_action( ‘genesis_after_content’, ‘genesis_get_sidebar_alt’ ); add_action( ‘genesis_before_content’, ‘genesis_get_sidebar_alt’ );
I understand you say the php mobile check is unreliable.
How might I trigger that php code using a css media query? I did not think that was possible. Or are you saying I should scrap the get_sidebar_alt altogether and try to a) switch sidebar content order on mobile and b) make it appear above main content which flows first in the page build?
Thanks.
August 22, 2015 at 8:11 pm in reply to: How to move secondary sidebar above content on mobile devices #163208selkinMemberThank you. Are you quite certain this specific requirement and situation is possible with CSS? My gut says no.
August 22, 2015 at 3:56 pm in reply to: How to move secondary sidebar above content on mobile devices #163198selkinMemberHow can I call that function from a media query? Is that what you are saying? Or are you saying I should try and re-jigger everything using CSS and floats (which I believe would be quite a mess, if even possible)?
Thanks.
August 21, 2015 at 5:19 pm in reply to: How to move secondary sidebar above content on mobile devices #163109selkinMemberfrobn,
Just for kicks, I decided to try the wp_is_mobile conditional (as I am not sure what shridhar is really saying. And, on first check, it seems like that is working as desired. : ) I will do further testing. Here is what I am using at this point...
`if ( wp_is_mobile() ) {
remove_action( 'genesis_after_content', 'genesis_get_sidebar_alt' );
add_action( 'genesis_before_content', 'genesis_get_sidebar_alt' );
}`Thanks for checking/help so far.
August 21, 2015 at 11:44 am in reply to: How to move secondary sidebar above content on mobile devices #163085selkinMemberI had found that also, but trying to take Sridhar's advice not to use it... found here.

Cannot get this to work yet.
August 20, 2015 at 3:05 pm in reply to: How to move secondary sidebar above content on mobile devices #163044selkinMemberThanks Frobn.
I installed plugin. Tried function below. It behaves as if only the remove/add lines are there (no mobile checking going on).
From looking at examples, it seems that the "if" call needed to be within a function, but I do not know what the first add_action should be, so used 'template_redirect'. Perhaps that is the issue?remove_action( 'genesis_before_content', 'move_alt_sidebar_b4content' ); function move_alt_sidebar_b4content() { if (!is_mobile()) { remove_action( 'genesis_after_content', 'genesis_get_sidebar_alt' ); add_action( 'genesis_before_content', 'genesis_get_sidebar_alt' ); } }
August 20, 2015 at 10:15 am in reply to: How to move sidebar to the top in mobile – Altitude #163012selkinMemberThis should work for you...
selkinMemberI ordered a used iphone 4s, just came in the mail today. The issue is confirmed on 4s. I will continue to play with scroll bar settings and such, but I am not optimistic that this approach will be successful. So another, uglier approach came to mind... break the responsive design on these listing pages (so that the main content area is a fixed width on these pages alone). What would be the best way to do this only on specific pages?
selkinMemberMuch thanks Christoph, I will troubleshoot further.
selkin
selkinMemberThank you Christoph.
I did not install the first plugin and it looks like the second requires a specific child theme.
Genesis does a pretty good job with being accessible. Most of the non-compliance items have to do with color choices and things that can be addressed by CSS, which I am working on now. But I wish to remove ERROR level compliance issues first. I also would rather not install another plugin for this one thing I wish to address. I am in contact with Ninja Forms regarding the same issue, but I cannot help but think there is way to address the Genesis Search box issue. How might I assign a form "title" to this?
Thanks again.
