MemberHi All,
This looks like an easy solution for porting older XHTML child themes to HTML5:

MemberHi Brad,
Thanks for participating in the discussion. Yes, that demo that Brian did looked pretty straight forward, but again I still wish there were a couple more business themes available at the launch of Genesis 2.0 thus taking advantage of HTML5 rather than having to port older XHTML themes.
Here is another take on adding the portfolio, which look pretty useful, especially l for those who switch themes a lot: http://genesistweaks.com/adding-a-portfolio-custom-post-type/
I also ran across this which looks like it makes it easy to port older XHTML themes to HTML5. I will give both of these a try in the coming weeks.: http://cobaltapps.com/genesis-xhtml-to-html5-css-converter/

MemberHi Mike,
There are some great plugins to help accomplish this. Here are a couple. BTW, I really like the first one. It is simple and quite easy to implement:

MemberHi SoZo,
Wish I could, but the site is too highly tracked by the client and thus I cannot. I just tried adding the BG using Firebug on the Studiopress demo Enterprise site and it seemed to play well. I will use that as my starting point and see what I may have in the customized client theme that may be causing the problem.
Cheers
