thanks. In the footer I use two Textwidgets and the RSS Widget...nothing more.

The RSS is from another homepage (includes Feedburner)

The grey footer itself I made with simple edits.

Really love the logo. It's really great. But why do you have a different color logo in your favicon?

I didn't mean the menu. I mean the header itself. I see it black and dark dark grey. I think this is to hard. Maybe light grey or light blue should be good.

If you don't want change the dark header you can change the background color of the slider into a light orange and the hyperlinks in orange also.

    Maybe using this hex code:
    #ed702b

I understand you a lot. I am also a blog reader. I really like it.

But for me, as a publisher of a music magazine it is really difficult to publish articles without "Read more". Sometimes we are publishing four reviews a day.

For me, as a reader, it is difficult to scroll the whole article before I can read the next one. Maybe I am not so interested in the first one. And after all I have a problem.

What's about your provider? Do you use a fast one?

Do you clean your database regularly? I use the plugin "WP Cleanfix" for that. BUT you have to be careful by using this !!! What's about your timthumbs? Are there okay? Sometimes you can have old timthumps and your side is going slower. But the timthumbs are more important for the security of your side. You can use the TimThumb Vulnerability Scanner Plugin to control it.

    Amazing.

I LOVE the slider. Maybe you should change the slider images colored control by grey and blue. I am using Image tricks for changing such things. I think the visitor want to see more images. You can take five (with a pagination also). And maybe you should change the overlay color of your Social Icons in your typical blue. Also a hover on your header image/logo. This would be fantastic.

    Really LOVE your favicon.

    Wow, looks great!

Did you try the more tag? I think there is to much scrolling and the time the page loads everything (especially the sidebar widget) is really slow. The background image might should be look more clear.

When I tested your page on the iPad everything looks fine and responsive. Also on my browser.

Really think the header is a little bit to dark. Maybe you change it into dark grey or maybe light blue as you use in the slideshow. And I really like the slideshow. Maybe you take more professional pics of the people. (one background, same image size, logo transparent and so on...)

I don't know. I am a newbie with gimp. Before I found out how to cut images it takes several days.

    ;-)))

I will try what you said and see how it works.

Ah, okay. I am using Gimp to cut the images in an elliptical form. So these four images can be use with the image generator to get them transparent and to make them in one image. After this I can replace the icon.png. It has to be 276x276. Am I right?

And what size do the icons (= my images) need to be without loosing appearance?

    Thx

Yes. I got the Pro Plus Pack, so I can use every theme.

If I use both themes I have to do the coding?

For example: I have to delete the header sections from the minimum theme in the style.css und the functions.php and replace it with the header section from the modern portfolio.

    Is it like this?

Or is it possible to put both theme folder together (via FTP) in one folder?.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

I know it could very easy to use one tag. But every Post have a new tag. I just want to create an archive page for tags from A-Z, where all the tags are shown. Like a lexicon.

I don't know if I can do that with special menue that could be weird (because of the look)

Every plugin that I knew is really terrible. Do you have a favorite one for that?

Normally in WordPress you will find this in the index.php

I looked at the genesis index.php and there is still nothing about that (still in Education that I use now). ;(

Maybe you can open a ticket in the helpdesk. Sorry, that I couldn't help you that way.

    Hi there again,

Removing post titles could be a problem because they appear all over your Homepage. I think you can remove the post titles from this (for example):

    <a href="<?php the_permalink() ?>" rel="bookmark" title="Permanent Link to <?php the_title_attribute(); ?>"><?php the_title(); ?></a>

    to this:

    <?php the_title(); ?>

But note: Your readers will not have a way of getting to your singles page to leave a comment .

You can remove the post meta data with the Genesis Simple Edits Plugin. Its very easy.

You can also use code snippets that you have to put in your functions.php:

    Post Meta
