Brad, I even used the CSS from this other news pro theme site - lifeandinvestments.com and it's still not working...

Thanks for the help Brad, I followed the instructions with the CSS, but still have the padding... I've done this before with success, but it's really driving me crazy now... Can't get anything to work it seems like.

    Sweet, thanks a lot!

One last thing... Can you tell me how to kill the vertical padding (probably wrong term) for the padding above the header?

I'd like for my header image to be flush or closer to the browser window. When I inspect element in chrome it tells me it's the "site container" 1140x2594... but I can't seem to locate it in the stylesheet to edit padding or height.

Thanks in advance for this question and again for the quick reply to the previous question!

    Hello,

    I figured it out!

Just delete all of the padding, including the 4rem padding, which I didn't do previously.

Thanks, you guys are great even though I didn't need help this time!

Thanks... I didn't realize I could just unhook it from the Simple Hooks plugin.

Do you have similar instructions for removing the header so that the nav at the top of the page? If you unhook genesis_do_header() it leaves a blank spot where the image used to be.

    Thanks for the help!
