.home-widgets-2 { background-color: #7da1b8; color: #fff; margin-top: -40px; }
Use whatever margin px or % or em that works best. That should get you started.
If you don't want the arrow add
display: none;
to the css class
.arrow

RobertMcMillin.comRobertMemberSure, just add this CSS code:
display: block;
to this section in your CSS:
.home-widgets .featuredpage .entry-title { font-size: 48px; font-weight: 300; line-height: 1.1; display: block; }
It is line 811'ish in your CSS stylesheet

<strong> </strong>
tags, that was a mistake on my part, I was just trying to emphasize the line of code you needed to add.

/* Widget Area --------------------------------------------- */ .site-header .widget-area { float: right; text-align: right; width: 720px; vertical-align: middle; vertical-align: bottom; margin-top: 2%; }
You are only adding this code to the existing style:
margin-top: 2%;

I used this code and it put the social media widgets to the middle of the header and looked OK on mobile as well.
.site-header .widget-area { float: right; text-align: right; width: 720px; vertical-align: middle; vertical-align: bottom; <strong>margin-top: 2%;</strong> }
This is line 1020 in your stylesheet.
Add this to your code and it will center the nav:
.genesis-nav-menu { clear: both; color: #999; line-height: 1; width: 100%; <strong>text-align: center;</strong> }
It is line 1042 in your stylesheet. Under `
/*
Site Navigation
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- */`

RobertMcMillin.comRobertMemberIf it is for the nav bar I would just create a custom css class
.page-id-22 .somecustomclass { display: none; }
Then in the navigation menu to edit the nav items enter the custom css class:
To enable the CSS classes look to the top right of the page you will see a box that is labeled “Screen Options”. Click "Screen Options" and make sure that “CSS Classes” is checked. Then, on the items that you want to style, you can add your CSS classes.as an example:
Could do it without the page id as well.

RobertMcMillin.comRobertMemberjust hide it with css. Get the page or post id and add this code to whatever element you want to hide. Substitute "123" with your postid.
.postid-123 #elementyouwanttohide{ display: none; }
so it might look something like
.postid-1762 .entry-title { display: none; }
You can usually get the post id by clicking edit on the page. When you're in the editor look at the url. It should have the post id in it. There are other ways you can google, if you don't see it there.
What's the link to your site?
Just realized you posted the link to your site.
This css should take care of it:
.page-id-22 .entry-title { display:none; }

RobertMcMillin.comRobertMemberRobertMemberRobertMemberYou have an extra navigation element that is not displaying correctly and is invisible. I'm not exactly sure what it is, can't see how you set the menus up but if you remove this line of code from your site, or delete the menu item, that will resolve the issue.
The Line Below Needs To Be Removed or deleted from the menu
<a href="#" itemprop="url"><span itemprop="name"></span></a>
It is messing up this list item.
<li id="menu-item-281" class="right menu-item menu-item-type-custom menu-item-object-custom menu-item-281"><a href="#" itemprop="url"><span itemprop="name"></span></a><a target="_blank" href="http://my.studiopress.com/themes/showcase" itemprop="url"><span itemprop="name">Purchase</span></a></li>
I was able to resolve it by doing so:
The problem with the "Purchase" nav item is that, while you may have enabled css classes you did not enter the css class for that menu item.
In your case you'd want to type in highlight as opposed to "left"
"To enable the CSS classes look to the top right of the page you will see a box that is labeled “Screen Options”. Click "Screen Options" and make sure that “CSS Classes” is checked.
Then, on the items that you want to style, you can add your CSS classes. Showcase Pro comes loaded with two options, "left" and "highlight". Adding "left" will put that menu item on the left hand side of the menu next to the logo. Adding "highlight" will add a border around the menu item like a button. Here is an example:" -Bloom Showcase Documentation

RobertMcMillin.comRobertMemberCould you please provide a link to the site in question? Also, what is the page that you are designating as the static homepage? The url's.
Without seeing the site or even the theme I can't give you any answers.

RobertMcMillin.comRobertMemberSimple way would be to:
1) Login To Your WordPress Dashboard
2) In a new tab/window Go to Cpanel or use FTP and navigate to your sites theme folder. Located in wp-content -> themes -> "your theme".
3) rename your active theme folder "altitudepro1" (name of your theme and add a 1)
4) In your wordpress dashboard upload the latest child theme version
5) Activate the theme and see if there are any issues
6) If there are issues - Go to your theme folder -> rename the messed up theme MyTheme2. (altitudepro2)
7) remove the "1" from the original theme folder name. To restore your site.
Should be a very quick way to test it out.
