ParticipantI'm using it on the Associate theme on this website, but the book info is not showing as it does on the Author Pro theme. What code should I copy?
http://demo.studiopress.com/author/book-tag/autobiography/ - I want my pages to look like this, but they don't show the featured image which you can click and then it takes you to the info about the book, including the buy buttons.
For example - http://www.brendajackson.net/?book-series=bennet-masters . This page should look like the demo page above. When you click on the book on the demo site, then it takes you to the book info with the buy buttons. But all of that is missing on my client's website.
I'm sure it's just a matter of copying some code, but I don't know what to copy. Please help.
Thanks,
Renee

ParticipantWell I went back to the original settings because everything was so messed up, so now all I need is to move the primary navigation directly beneath the header and it shows on all pages.
This is what I want to achieve.
I don't want to use another theme because the Author Pro does exactly what I need it to do.

ParticipantSo now I have even more problems. The navigation bar was moved thanks to help from Brad Dalton, but now it's in the wrong place and I've got lots of extra space before where the secondary navigation is, and when I scroll, the secondary navigation disappears.
Also, the primary navigation doesn't show on the interior pages.
I want both menus to show on all pages. I just want the primary navigation below the header. I really need help ASAP!

ParticipantI just ended up doing it manually. Seemed like the easiest way to do it. Thanks for the help.

ParticipantNo, I want to have the books in each series (on their respective series page) in order like on the printable list.
renwil
ParticipantNo, I don't think so. Sorry, not exactly sure what that means. Take a look at this page - http://www.brendajackson.net/?book-series=madaris. The first book should be Tonight and Forever. From there, I want them in order of date of book publication. You can see a printable list of books here - http://www.brendajackson.net/?page_id=10.

ParticipantCan someone please help with this? I really need to have this issue fixed right away. Thanks in advance!
renwil
ParticipantI did this and it moved the header down below the slider, the exact opposite of what I wanted it to do.
renwil
ParticipantNo need to respond. Got my issue fixed. Thanks.

ParticipantWhere do I add this code? In the functions.php file or do I create another file?
renwil
ParticipantGreat, thanks!

This one is a WordPress site, using a Genesis child theme.

ParticipantIf you don't want anything in the blue sash, don't put anything in the featured text section when you add a new book. If nothing is there, the sash won't show.

ParticipantOkay, that works! Thanks so much for the quick reply.

ParticipantDoes it go at the beginning or the end? I put it at the end but it didn't work?
renwil
ParticipantNo, I don't want to remove the blue banner from the covers. I got the answer to that one by just doing a little reading! LOL
I do still have the following question, plus a couple more:
If I change the size of the header will it move the navigation menu below the header?
Is there a way to put social media icons (such as using Simple Social) in the header?
How can I change the image size here - http://brendajackson.allthebuzzreviews.com/books/
renwil
ParticipantThanks, the page template worked perfectly! Another question, and I'm sorry if I missed this in the tutorial. But how do I change the info in the banner that shows up across the corner of the book.
Also, if I change the size of the header will it move the navigation menu below the header? Is there a way to put social media icons (such as using Simple Social) in the header?
Thanks again,
Renee

ParticipantThanks again for all of your help Tonya!
renwil
ParticipantAnd I don't want the image to take up the whole front page. I just don't want it cut off. I can send you the log in information so you can see it. I don't want to take it out of maintenance mode yet.

ParticipantHi Tonya,
Thanks for the response. I changed the code for the title, but it still shows on the page. I don't want to use a custom header. The background image has her name in it.
For the background image, I'm not exactly sure where to add that code. 🙁
