    Thank you for this recommendation, but, regrettably, it is not what I am looking for. What I want is to create a list with JUST the title and the date of a selection of my posts in ONE category. So the result should look like this:

    http://www.vvoj.nl/cms/archief [please note this is not my website, it is an example of what I want my own news archive to look like].

    Thank you for this information BUT I am afraid it is not what I mean. I do not want a page displaying my entire blog posts, one by one. What I want is to create a list with JUST the title and the date of a selection of my posts in ONE category. So the result should look like this:
