Hey Kellylise,
Thanks for sharing. However since this is a bbPress thing, my /forums is not a page (at least it does not have a edit page options).
So I think I might need something a little bit more specific.PavleMemberTonya,
You are amazing. It worked like a charm. Thanks so much ๐
Do you perhaps know how can I stylize my login and search forms to be similar to ones on this forum?
I do not know how to put them inline, as right now they are a bit messy. Thanks once again.
PavleMemberHi Jon,
Many thanks for posting an update here.
Few hours ago plugin has been updated at least on my site.
I am sure you will see it soon.It works for me right now (I assume the line I deleted previously got deleted).
Well, now I have to work on styling my forum a bit.
Best wishes.
PavlePavleMemberJon,
I would have never figured out that myself. Thanks.
So upon your advice I removed this// Set some defaults
$forum_id = bbp_get_forum_id();
// For some reason, if we use the cached version, weird things seem to happen.
// This needs more investigation, for now we pass false as a work around.
$retval = genesis_get_option( 'site_layout', null, false );
$parent = false; What worries me is that it says
For some reason, if we use the cached version, weird things seem to happen.
I am using W3 cache, so lets hope there will be no problems. Perhaps this can be further investigated by the support team.

@antiac
I see, however I am definitely not the only one. I am using Parallax Pro if that matters.
One of the members has same problem and perhaps has found a line of code which does not work.
Please check this topic http://www.studiopress.community/topic/genesis-2-1-not-playing-nice-with-bbpress/June 30, 2014 at 4:39 pm in reply to: New Genesis Framework 2.1 available, possible BBpress error? #112230PavleMemberAndrea,
Thanks. I did that and this is 100% now Genesis BBpress Extend plugin issue with 2.1
Unfortunately right now I do have a page without internal error, but without the Extend, there is no forum ๐
I hope someone from the support will look into this.
June 30, 2014 at 4:35 pm in reply to: New Genesis Framework 2.1 available, possible BBpress error? #112226PavleMemberHi Andrea,
I already tried that as another Andrea from the support told me to try it.
Unfortunately this is not working.Any other ideas? It seams its a Genesis BBpress Extend plugin error with 2.1 rather then bbPress itself?
PavleMemberJohn,
Here is what guys from support told me. Unfortunately its not working for me, but perhaps it might work for you
" Please go to Settings -Permalinks and resave. No need to change, just save."Let me know. I will post here if I find a solution in the meanwhile.
PavleMemberHi Jon,
I have exactly the same problem. Its definitely something on the Genesis 2.1 side.
Lets hope they will solve it, my forum is showing internal server error.PavleMemberThanks for the reply.
I do have little knowledge about how to tweak the CSS.
However before doing that, I thought someone might be able to give me a tip what should be changed and done.
As right now I do not like how my forum looks, neither do my visitors, when I changed the designed nobody posted anything, seams like they are absolutely confused.June 19, 2014 at 5:17 am in reply to: (TUTORIAL) Implemeting Parallax Pro Homepage into Genesis Sample + Question #110534PavleMemberI tested my Media Queries code that I put together but it does not work. I guess I did not do it properly.
I forgot to mention, that I added 2 more folders.
1) JS
2) lib1)In JS I added with notepad file parallax.js
2)And in lib I added customize.php
And added in notepad output.php
Not sure if this all makes sense. Basically I am trying to put together codes from Parallax Pro into Sample.
It works well on desktop but not so well (not at all almost) on mobile.
June 19, 2014 at 4:10 am in reply to: (TUTORIAL) Implemeting Parallax Pro Homepage into Genesis Sample + Question #110529PavleMemberBrad, thanks so much! You are AMAZING!
It would be great if you can create a tutorial for this, I am sure it will be an interesting one. What do you think?
Your website is like a Bible for Genesis and WordPress!
Here is what I ended up with. (This is not tested, I will test it and update the post).
PavleMemberStill trying to figure this out guys, anyone?
PavleMemberThanks Lauren.
I tried this, and I managed to target it, however do you know how I can show menu items in line, horizontally, not like a list as it is now?
PavleMemberThanks Lauren, okay I will go with custom menu, but how can I target it and style it to be vertical?
I tried with Genesis Extender, but was not working for some reason.
Any ideas?June 10, 2014 at 5:52 am in reply to: If Modified Since Does your webpage support the 304 If Modified Since HTTP heade #108739PavleMemberUpdate, this works like a charm. Just tested your page and thatยดs it.
It would be good to have it on each post, without short code.
You are genius Brad, thank so much!June 10, 2014 at 5:50 am in reply to: If Modified Since Does your webpage support the 304 If Modified Since HTTP heade #108738PavleMemberThanks Brad. I will certainly do it.
I saw most of the site does not have it ,but I guess its important for the SEO aspect.
I am unsure if modified date is the same as if modified since, but it certainly sounds like it is.
Let me give it a try ,and I will post the update here.June 10, 2014 at 3:52 am in reply to: If Modified Since Does your webpage support the 304 If Modified Since HTTP heade #108728PavleMemberHi Brad,
Well I am not an expert, so I will quote
The If-Modified-Since HTTP header tells a search engine spider one of two things about a webpage...
This webpage has not changed, no need to download again.
This webpage has changed so download again because there is new information.http://www.feedthebot.com/ifmodified.html
Any idea how to make this work on Genesis?
Do you think its relavant , according to the site it is.PavleMemberIt all gets to one final question.
How can I resize the photo image in weight and possibly have a boxed homepage background photo?
I am still unsure if its better that I have background optin photo to full width or boxed ? My way of design is just wrong ๐PavleMember"2) Also this “homepage” background appears on my blog page (post page) any idea why?"
I solved this second issue just by deleting is_home and leaving is_front_page the way it is. It works if you have homepage as static.
It should look like this.
Now I am trying to solve #1 and #3. Hopefully some of you guys might know.
