Solved.
I put
remove_action( 'genesis_entry_header', 'genesis_do_post_title' );
infunctions.php
.I created a
single.php
and putadd_action( 'genesis_entry_header', 'genesis_do_post_title' );
in it.July 31, 2015 at 12:52 am in reply to: Change order of post elements in the loop in Parallax Pro #161027paullawleyjonesMemberHave been playing, and this code in
functions.php
//* Remove the entry title on archive pages (requires HTML5 theme support) add_action( 'genesis_entry_header', 'plj_do_post_title' ); function plj_do_post_title(){ if ( ! is_single() ) { remove_action( 'genesis_entry_header', 'genesis_do_post_title' ); } }
removes the title from all posts in archive loops, except the first post in the loop.

Spoke too soon. I still have the title on other archive pages (cat, author, tag, etc.)

I put the second snippet into front-page.php instead of functions.php.
Thanks again.

Thanks for your reply
The first snippet to change the featured image position worked exactly as I wanted.
However, the second snippet to remove the title on the homepage loop also removes the titles from single posts, which I didn't want.
I'm guessing I need an 'if ( is front page )' or 'if ( ! single post ) statement to achieve this?
