For me it's working good, try use Cloudflare CDN and you may install W3 cache tool for better experience for the user.

If you can not find a solution try to downgrade to previous version using WP Downgrade

I suggest to not upgrade to PHP 7.2, give it some time cause it's just released probably gonna be some bugs
