But can you even add it to Genesis? I can't seem to figure out how to do that. Google says to edit searchform.php and there is none in genesis nor is there a theme editor anymore.....

It didn't work for me either. I'm really surprised at the difference in functionality from the old vs new Agency theme. Very very different. All in the name of responsive design I guess.

I want to throw a thick blue banner along the top like the existing site except I want the text to be searchable and selectable, not just an image.
