    Thank you for the additional information. I was able to delete it this way too without any problems.

    It's very helpful that Genesis doesn't overwrite your edits when it's updated.

    I hadn't thought about leaving the word "menu" for accessibility purposes until now. This is very valuable information.

    I did a full-text search for "functions.php" in the latest child theme, but I didn't find such a description. I wonder if the specifications have changed?

    I want to know how to do this with Genesis Sample Version 3.3.0.

    My site isn't up and running yet, but it's about customizing the officially distributed child theme "Genesis sample".

    I want to keep the hamburger button in this theme simple.
