I was able to figure this one out. Here is what I used:
Location: <?php
global $wp_query;
$postid = $wp_query->post->ID;
echo get_post_meta($postid, 'nearest_metro_city', true);
wp_reset_query();
?>Thank you.
May 28, 2016 at 9:36 pm in reply to: How to add meta key and meta value onto the footer of post #186437riseUpMemberAll, I am also tinkering around with this PHP code:
<?php echo get_post_meta($post->ID, 'Nearest_Metro_City', true); ?>
But nothing is happening...any advise appreciated!
May 28, 2016 at 9:09 pm in reply to: How to add meta key and meta value onto the footer of post #186436riseUpMemberSorry for any confusion, but I'm not referring to anything with Google keywords.
I should have stated the purpose of the thread was for custom meta tags.
I am tinkering with the following code but I'm struggling to figure out if the below is a step in the right direction:
global $wp_query;
$postid = $wp_query->post->ID;
echo get_post_meta($postid, 'Nearest_Metro_City', true);
wp_reset_query();Can somebody provide guidance if the above is a step in the right direction?
I would like the result on the website to be:
Location: New York City
For the post that a user submits.
Thanks.
riseUpMemberI was able to find something called "Ninja Plugin" for footers. Not sure if this will fully meet my footer needs, but will try this. Thank you!
riseUpMemberBAM! That worked! Thank you, Genesis Developer!
riseUpMemberThank you for your reply, "Genesis Developer."
Unfortunately, I may need a little more guidance please. I'm not a technical person, so please bear with me.
When I did a search on "the author" filter on Google, I found the following code to be entered into my functions.php file:
function the_author_meta($field = '', $user_id = false) {
echo apply_filters('the_author_' . $field, get_the_author_meta($field, $user_id), $user_id);
}
I tried the above snippet, and I did not notice the current "miketest smithtest" change to the nickname meta. Can you kindly advise where I would need to adjust the php code to make this happen?
Thank you.
riseUpMemberSounds good. Thanks Victor Font!

March 20, 2016 at 9:19 pm in reply to: How to Right Justify the LogIn and Registration Link to the Right of the Nav Bar #181954riseUpMemberI've been fiddling around but could not get how to do this.
I tried the following but with no luck:
if( is_user_logged_in() ) {
$args['menu'] = 'logged-in';
} else {
$args['menu'] = 'logged-out';
}
return <div align="right">args;</div>
}
add_filter( 'wp_nav_menu_args', 'my_wp_nav_menu_args' );Sorry, I'm not a coder, and would like to see if there is anything else I can do. Thanks!

riseUpMemberThat was easy enough. Thank you!
riseUpMemberHello.
I was able to use the following piece of code to allow the avatar to be linked. However, it seems as though the avatar links to the user's posts that he/she created in the past. However, I wanted the avatar to link to the user's profile page. FYI - I am using a 3rd party plugin for the profile page. Any advice? Thanks.
riseUpMemberGreat recommendation on FireBug! Thanks for this! I was able to update this base upon your recommendation. Thanks again.
riseUpMemberYou are right. I just added that line, and it no longer showed upon the pages but only the posts. Thank you!
