}riseUpMemberHi.
I was able to place the avatar above the title which is great. I was able to tweak your code as the following:
function wpsites_post_author_avatars() {
echo get_avatar(get_the_author_meta('email'), 300);
}add_action('genesis_entry_header', 'wpsites_post_author_avatars', 7);
I added a "7" to the their area of add_action.
How would I be able to "center" the image? The CSS code that I have is:
.entry-header .avatar {
border: 5px solid #f5f5f5;
border-radius: 50%;
float: none;
height: 120px;
margin-bottom: 20px;
text-align: center;
width: 120px;I tried tinkering with the text-align: center here and there but with no avail. Thanks.
March 3, 2016 at 8:33 pm in reply to: How to display menu items to the right of the navigation bar #180602riseUpMemberCarasmo, when I do "right" for the Log In and Register menu items, the blue navigation bar for some reason increases in height which is too large height-wise. So, if you look at ymphony.com now, the blue navigation bar is too tall. How can I shorten the height of the blue navigation bar? Doing the "right" for both Log In and Register caused the blue navigation bar to become too tall. Thank you!
riseUpMemberThat's right. I'm still trying to figure this one out.
I am using the following code to display the avatar on the homepage for each post:
function wpsites_post_author_avatars() {
echo get_avatar(get_the_author_meta('email'), 300);
}The above code allows me to show the avatar on the homepage for each post. However, I can't seem to display the avatar above the title and centered based upon the following:
add_action( 'genesis_entry_header', 'bg_entry_gravatar', 7 );
function bg_entry_gravatar() {
if ( is_singular( 'post' ) ) {
echo '<div class="entry-avatar">';
echo get_avatar( get_the_author_meta( 'user_email' ), 240 );
echo '</div>';
}
}So, I attempted to "merge" the BG code into your code, but with no success. What do you think?

Ok - I am one step closer...but need a little more assistance. Few things:
1. The avatar only shows when I click on the specific post. How is it possible to display the avatar for each post on the homepage? I'd like the avatar to show on the homepage for each post, too.
2. How do I make the avatar link to the poster's profile page?
3. Is there a way to also have the poster's name right below the avatar....and have the poster's name link to his/her profile too?
Thanks!

Sorry, but I did not understand what you meant. I would like to use the genesis_before_content_sidebar_wrap hook, but what "code" do I need to copy and paste that hook? Thanks.

February 24, 2016 at 5:41 am in reply to: How to display author photo next to the post on the homepage #179784riseUpMemberHello.
Anybody able to help me with this situation? Still trying to figure out how to display profile picture and name (both links to the profile page) next to the post just like how you see it in this email thread - picture, name, and comment side by side. Thank you!
February 22, 2016 at 10:00 pm in reply to: How to display author photo next to the post on the homepage #179684riseUpMemberHello.
When I follow the directions, I am only able to see the avatar. I am unable to click on the avatar to take me to the profile page.
When you replied, notice how your profile picture and name is displayed next to the comment you submitted to me on this very thread. Users are able to click on your fact picture and your name...which directs the user to your profile page.
This is exactly how I want to be shown on my site...on the homepage for each post.
Can you assist? Thank you!

February 21, 2016 at 7:49 am in reply to: How to display author photo next to the post on the homepage #179547riseUpMemberThat's correct. So that random users are able to view the face and possibly other profile info adjacent to the title/paragraph area.
So, yes.
riseUpMemberHi there.
Ah...I was looking at the wrong section to try tinkering. I was able to make this work with your recommendation. Thanks again!
riseUpMemberThanks Susan. That worked. I also wanted to see if I could have the menu bar links to be white color and consistently white color. I've been trying to review the CSS sections and tinker around the "color" css line items, but was not able to.
Can you provide guidance on where I need to change in the CSS editor to have the primary menu links (About Us, Contact, etc) to be white color consistently (static white color)?
Thanks!
