    thanks for the help; I got myself tangled up in the css a little and the client actually now wants the menu above the image slider, so this is resolved.

    Further to my last post, I have removed both snippets and the page layout is fine - thanks.

     

    BUT!

     

    In doing so I don't seem to now be able to edit the header colour, which I need green instead of blue! I have uploaded a green PNG file and called it "wrap" to replace the blue one but its not loading up. Is that because I have deleted the wrap instruction to sort out the page layout?

     

    I'd appreciate your assistance sincerely.

    Not tried yet, but I will now! Do I rename the home.php as she suggests via ftp on my server?

    I clicked the radio button to select a static page and chose Welcome to Wirral Green Deal as the front page. There is no content on thee page yet though, justt the tile.

    Hi, I set up the page "Welcome to Wirral Green Deal" as the static home page, ID is http://www.wirralgreendeal.co.uk/thextons/

    Thanks, I appreciate your response.

    What's frustrating me though is that I do already have the static page set-up, but it is appearing as shown in the links in the first post.
