I discovered that the Image Logo references the Header Image. I had to add theme support for a custom-header.

Thank you. If I find a resolution, I will post it, otherwise, I will keep this thread up to date.
April 6, 2017 at 8:14 am in reply to: Cannot Add content before Genesis Featured Page Widget in sidebar area #204388mp_alexsMemberIn the interest of avoiding the dreaded duplicate post, I will post my question again here:
I am building a theme that displays multiple posts / pages on the homepage. I have a sidebar in place that take either the Genesis - Featured Posts widget or multiple instances of the Genesis - Featured Page widget. I need to add my logo into the header of each of the Featured Page widgets or each of the Featured Posts.
Any tips on how to do that? As it stands, the add_action( 'genesis_entry_header', 'mp_function' ) I've been using has not been working the way I want it to.
Thank you!
mp_alexsMemberYour output.php file has a color setting being added that is looking for this function:
digital_customizer_get_default_link_color()
You haven't defined that function. I just ran into that myself, as I was assembling a type of boilerplate theme for a few projects based on the Genesis Sample theme. In my case, I simply removed that function call from the add_setting() line, and it got rid of the error.

I have included screenshots of the code I referenced on that staging site as well.

In the meantime, the reason I can't add another widget in the same widget area before or after the featured widget is the project specs. This project is designed to be a single-page website, but in between the different sections, the website will have a version of their logo with a colored background. This divider logo's background will be generated when the page loads, rather than being hardcoded in. If I can keep to the project specs, I would love to be able to. I have the code ready for my calculated colors, but the divider div with the logo just is not outputting in the above mentioned situation.
mp_alexsMemberHey Molly,
I see what you're talking about. The mobile menu arrow are not visible on most items. It looks like the arrows are positioned differently on each of the items, based on their width.
I went into the inspector and changed this property:
.genesis-nav-menu.responsive-menu > .menu-item-has-children:before
to have position: absolute;, and it appears to have solved the issue on my end.
EDIT: This seems to have solved the appearance issues, but it may have to have the same transitions applied to it as are applied to the menu itself. During the open animation, I'm seeing the arrows completely populated while the menu expands.
