MemberHi Victor,
Thank you. I will try that. Is this an all or nothing proposition -- meaning if I add this code, I will no longer be able to use the Genesis Simple Sidebar on posts? Just curious. I assume I won't be able to, but just wanted to double-check.michiganseo
MemberHi Victor,
Thanks for that. I definitely do use the Genesis Simple Sidebars plugin. However, my goal is to have all blog posts "default" to a "blog" sidebar -- and all existing posts to be automatically converted over without going into every single post and making that change. Thanks for your help.michiganseo
MemberHi Janet, That was helpful... Would you know how to do it so the dashicon is displaying AND the word "MENU" is immediately to the right so that both are displaying? Thanks!

MemberThank you, anitac. Still a little unsure how to remove the primary sidebar on the home page only. I think I understand the tutorial if the home page is set up as a "static" page and you can add custom body classes to that page as explained. However, my home page is not a static page. Any thoughts? Thanks so much for your willingness to assist. It is greatly appreciated!

MemberThat makes sense... Adding those 2 lines of code to home.php eliminated the posts from displaying; however, the primary sidebar is still visible... strange... thanks for your efforts!

MemberThank you so much for your response. That code removed the primary sidebar from all pages. I'm just looking to remove the primary sidebar from the home page -- similar to what you seem to do here: http://www.idahodairymens.org. Please let me know if you have a thought on that... Thanks again so much for your help!

Memberwyattwerner,
On your home page, I noticed that both the blog posts are removed AND the PRIMARY SIDEBAR. How did you remove both of these from the homepage. I would like to do something similar.
Thanks!
