I appreciate the quick reply. If, by changing the php file, will that eliminate the entire tagline area or just the "From the Blog" and replace it with what I set as the tagline in the theme customization area?

this worked well for me as far as the logo goes, but I find that the header.png just acts like an image and not a background image. I'd like to make it stay in the background where it belongs, and cover everything. any ideas?

I don't think the outreach theme has a logo feature. If it does, I can't find it.

I am trying to get the menu to look like the theme demo.  I have gone to the tutorials and other places for the answer and it just is not there.  Suggestions please.  Currently the menu bar is located right on top of the slider.
