So... the link provided by James was helpful, but, unfortunately I still didn't manage to amend the Genesis name in the menu, and also I didn't manage to remove the "Information" tab
The code for changing menu items is this one, as per article in the link:
unction customize_post_admin_menu_labels() { global $menu; global $submenu; $menu[5][0] = 'Articles'; $submenu['edit.php'][5][0] = 'Articles'; $submenu['edit.php'][10][0] = 'Add Articles'; echo ''; } add_action( 'admin_menu', 'customize_post_admin_menu_labels' );
And works like a charm. I've tried to find what's the number for Genesis, to change [5][0] to [no. for Genesis][0]
I've tried:
20 changes pages
25 changes comments
30 changes nothing
35 changes nothing
40 changes nothing
45 changes nothing
50 changes nothing
55 changes nothing
60 changes appearance
65 changes nothing
70 changes users
75 tools
80 settingsI've tried
$menu[58.996][0] = 'Something';
after finding some more articles on the Internet - Still not working (Silly stuff, I know, but I've tried everything from 58.950 to 59...)Nothing seems to be working. Same thing, I'm still stuck on "Information" panel...
Any help is much appreciated.
Best,

mariusMemberStill no reply from pre sales - maybe one of the users on this forum has the answer - can I use functions.php from a child theme to modify the content shown on the dashboard - to remove the info re. Genesis and modify the admin menu items of Genesis?
Thank you for your support.
