🙂
I have now added an additional button to the front page and they link directly with internal pages.This means that I no longer need the scroll-down effect as everything I want is on the page as it displays.
Do you know if there is an easy way to remove the scroll-down effect so that I can get rid of the scroll bar?...or will this upset what I have already done.

keystoneMemberHi Brad,
Thanks for the response. I have managed to achieve what I needed simply by increasing the padding on the text. The next step is to remove the lower section so that there is no need to scroll down.
The other part of the PM was to say hi to a fellow Aussie....Tassie is wonderful this time of year.

keystoneMemberHi again,
It turns out that I needed to make some changes to the css. Apparentlythere is a gap between where the parent li node ends, and where the sub menu ul node appears, and when the cursor tries to cross over to the sub-menu it leaves the parent menu causing the hover status to be cancelled.
Needed to change this line
.menu-primary li ul ul, .menu-secondary li ul ul, #header .menu li ul ul {
margin:-56px 0 0 200px;
}to
.menu-primary li ul ul, .menu-secondary li ul ul, #header .menu li ul ul {
margin:-56px 0 0 100px;
}...and it seems to be fine now
Hope this information may be of assistance to others.
My thanks to anitac for her help and to the people at http://memberfind.me technical support who have fantastic.

keystoneMemberThanks Davinder,
That is the process I was working on but this is an interesting request by the site owner where he wants the landing page with some animation on it and then move into the main site with duplicate pages in two languages.
The mechanics of it are causing me some grief.

keystoneMemberHi again Andrea....I promise not to keep bugging you with things but I thought you might be able to answer a quick question faster than me just putting another one on the forum.
Is it possible to make the individual menu items on the nav bar appear in the middle of the bar rather than starting from the left...but still enable me to add more menu items while keeping the wording centralised.

keystoneMemberHi again....I think I may have solved the problem. When I first started this design I made the page width slightly smaller for effect...and it looks like I forget to alter the "inner" and "sidebar" dimensions to suit.
Thanks for trying to assist me....

keystoneMemberNot at the moment...I am just trying to get my internal pages to display as content/sidebar where the content of the page is not pushing the sidebar down...which is what appears to be happening at the moment.
If you check out this link you will see that this page has a couple of posts on it. The sidebar does not appear until after the posts at the bottom of the page.

keystoneMemberHi Rob...sorry should have written sidebar...
What I mean is if you have a look at the page link, the Calendar...which is at the top of the sidebar...is not appearing at the top of the page...the sidebar is placed below the page text almost as if it is a part of the full width page rather than placed as content/sidebar...

keystoneMemberI may be misunderstanding the question as I am pretty new to this too...but if you change:
Site Header
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- */.site-header {
margin: 0 auto;
min-height: 100px;
background-color: rgba(0,0,0,0.5);
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;and make it:
Site Header
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- */.site-header {
margin: 0 auto;
min-height: 100px;
background-color: rgba(255,255,255,0.5);
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;Does that achieve what you are looking for?

keystoneMemberHi Andrea...thanks that worked fine. Now I have realised that removing the inner background also removes the background on posts and pages so I am trying to find a way around that...just testing a plugin called "custom background extended" that I hope will keep me transparent on the front page but provide background for my pages and posts...
