Susan -- Yep, very responsive and liked my idea. 🙂 Or passed it on anyway. I felt weird opening a "ticket" because even the dropdown to fill out the ticket form didn't have an option for "suggestion only" or feedback. So, among the choices there, I think I categorized it as a "dire website emergency the likes of which the planet has never seen!"

    Just kidding.

    Thanks again!
    🙂

Hi Susan -- Thanks for the reply. No I don't THINK I have ever done as you suggested.

    Would it annoy them?

Hmm, maybe I'll go ahead and do it. I just thought tickets were for, you know, support, not so much for "wish lists." 🙂

    Thanks again!

I'd like to see where this set-up info is as well. Seems like it should be in the standard set up for every theme that uses this effect, yet I can't find it in, say, the new Cafe Pro theme documentation. Anyone know where this detailed set-up for the scrolling effect for menu items is?

    From here:
The Parallax Pro theme demo uses images with dimensions of 1600px by 1050px for this area. The images used in these areas must be a minimum of 1140px wide. The widgets used in these widget areas will overlay the background images when used.

Thanks anitac, but I decided to trash Premise and go with a theme that has landing pages built in (responsive ones)! I will mark this as "resolved." Thank you again, though! 🙂

I'll add my voice to this request:

Yes yes! Please DO offer the "non-parallax" option for the background on this theme. Love the theme, but as others are saying, the background doesn't work well at all with many kinds of images.

I do understand about the "parallax" thing. Just saying the option to NOT have it be that way would be awesome! 🙂

Very helpful! I will probably go with EDD. Been looking at that one.

    Thanks again 🙂

    Answered:

This is using the content limit to display the post text. This must strip the HTML so the formatting is lost.

There isn't a safe way to work around that. You can show the full content and use the ` [Read more...] about kay9
