Susan -- Yep, very responsive and liked my idea. 🙂 Or passed it on anyway. I felt weird opening a "ticket" because even the dropdown to fill out the ticket form didn't have an option for "suggestion only" or feedback. So, among the choices there, I think I categorized it as a "dire website emergency the likes of which the planet has never seen!"
Just kidding.
Thanks again!
🙂kay9ParticipantHi Susan -- Thanks for the reply. No I don't THINK I have ever done as you suggested.
Would it annoy them?
Hmm, maybe I'll go ahead and do it. I just thought tickets were for, you know, support, not so much for "wish lists." 🙂
Thanks again!

kay9ParticipantI'd like to see where this set-up info is as well. Seems like it should be in the standard set up for every theme that uses this effect, yet I can't find it in, say, the new Cafe Pro theme documentation. Anyone know where this detailed set-up for the scrolling effect for menu items is?

The Parallax Pro theme demo uses images with dimensions of 1600px by 1050px for this area. The images used in these areas must be a minimum of 1140px wide. The widgets used in these widget areas will overlay the background images when used.kay9ParticipantThanks anitac, but I decided to trash Premise and go with a theme that has landing pages built in (responsive ones)! I will mark this as "resolved." Thank you again, though! 🙂

Yes yes! Please DO offer the "non-parallax" option for the background on this theme. Love the theme, but as others are saying, the background doesn't work well at all with many kinds of images.
I do understand about the "parallax" thing. Just saying the option to NOT have it be that way would be awesome! 🙂

kay9ParticipantThank you guys!
Very helpful! I will probably go with EDD. Been looking at that one.
Thanks again 🙂
May 28, 2013 at 8:25 am in reply to: Metro Theme Demo – Home Top Front Page "Show Content" Can't Have Formatting? #42906kay9ParticipantAnswered:
This is using the content limit to display the post text. This must strip the HTML so the formatting is lost.
There isn't a safe way to work around that. You can show the full content and use the ` [Read more...] about kay9
