Thanks everyone for your help! The issue has been resolved. I had a blank index.php file in my theme folder which was causing the problem. Who knew? Thanks! StudioPress support figured it out 🙂
katji83MemberYes and they told me it was a plugin issue, but now my entire page is wiped out...well its not appearing ever since I added and removed define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '64M') from the config file.
katji83MemberSigh, at the advice of this website since none of the proposed solutions have worked. I added this
define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '64M')
to my wp-config file and it did not change the issue. However, when I deleted this from the wp-config file it completely ruined my page and I'm not sure what to do at this point.katji83MemberThanks, I deleted and reinstalled a fresh install of genesis 2.27 and the problem still exists 🙁
katji83MemberThanks Victor:
I deactivated and deleted that plugin and the problem still exists. I then deactivated all my plugins one by one and my categories page is still blank.
katji83MemberSo I ran WP-Debug for this page and this is what I came up with, however I'm not sure what any of it means?
Notice: Undefined index: action in /home/delivera/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-filemanager/wp-filemanager.php on line 65 Strict Standards: Redefining already defined constructor for class googlefonts in /home/delivera/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-google-fonts/google-fonts.php on line 279 Warning: session_start(): Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent (output started at /home/delivera/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-filemanager/wp-filemanager.php:65) in /home/delivera/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp_edit_pro_responsive_filemanager/main_fm.php on line 176 Notice: The called constructor method for WP_Widget is deprecated since version 4.3.0! katji83MemberThanks so much for your help. I greatly appreciate it 🙂
katji83MemberI also noticed I don't have an .htaccess file, could this be the problem?
katji83MemberHi Christoph,
I'm not using a special page template for upcoming events and the link does work on the default themes.
Thanks,
Katarakatji83MemberThanks Christoph, I followed your instructions and the blank page still exists.
katji83MemberSorry I just want my event pages to look like this http://deliverancebc.org/index.php/sample-page/
But I need to add this somewhere on the template to do so and I have no idea where to add this code in the feedback loop:
<?php eventon_se_page_content(); ?>
katji83MemberMr. Font I'm really confused.
I just want to create a template so event pages like this:
http://deliverancebc.org/index.php/events/womens-luncheon/will look like this with the white box in the middle so you can actually read the text on the Events page:
So from my understanding my custom template will pretty much look the same EXCEPT it will include pages populated by the plugin. Here is my custom page so far:
<?php /** * This file adds a Custom page template to the Outreach Pro Theme. * * @author StudioPress * @package Outreach Pro * @subpackage Customizations */ /* Template Name: Custom */ //* Add custom body class to the head add_filter( 'body_class', 'outreach_add_body_class' ); function outreach_add_body_class( $classes ) { $classes[] = 'outreach-pro-custom'; return $classes; } //* Force full width content layout add_filter( 'genesis_site_layout', '__genesis_return_full_width_content' ); //* Remove site header elements remove_action( 'genesis_header', 'genesis_header_markup_open', 5 ); remove_action( 'genesis_header', 'genesis_do_header', 10 ); remove_action( 'genesis_header', 'genesis_header_markup_close', 15 ); //* Remove navigation remove_action( 'genesis_after_header', 'genesis_do_nav' ); remove_action( 'genesis_after_header', 'genesis_do_subnav' ); //* Remove breadcrumbs remove_action( 'genesis_before_loop', 'genesis_do_breadcrumbs' ); //* Remove sub-footer widgets remove_action( 'genesis_before_footer', 'outreach_sub_footer', 5 ); //* Remove site footer widgets remove_action( 'genesis_before_footer', 'genesis_footer_widget_areas' ); //* Remove site footer elements remove_action( 'genesis_footer', 'genesis_footer_markup_open', 5 ); remove_action( 'genesis_footer', 'genesis_do_footer' ); remove_action( 'genesis_footer', 'genesis_footer_markup_close', 15 ); //* Run the Genesis loop genesis();
But I have no idea how to find the Genesis loop (I did a google search but I'm even more confused). The plugin creator (myeventon) has never used genesis so they're confused too. LOL. Please help.
katji83MemberHi Victor,
The content links now work, after uploading to google drive, but for whatever reason they will not work with the plugin. I went back to the plugin author to see if he has any other solutions. After installing plugins and trying to edit the functions.php to turn off wpautop() nothing is working.
katji83MemberThank you for your advice. I installed the plugin, but unfortunately the other plugin is still not working. Do you think that the errors may be causing the problem?

katji83MemberI'm not sure what the css format should be. I also don't know what rem means?
Thanks!
katji83MemberAs always thanks so much!
katji83MemberI'm going to close this post and start a new one since I"m a few steps ahead. If anyone needs this for future reference, my next post in this series will be titled adding FlowType Javascript to Outreach Pro Theme.
Thanks!
