Change it to:

}

I figured this out.

For anyone else who might need to do the same, I adjusted the values in this stylesheet section

.page .post.entry {
background: url(images/lines.png) bottom repeat-x;
margin-bottom: 48px;
margin-bottom: 3rem;
padding-bottom: 32px;
padding-bottom: 2rem;
}

Thanks Charlie. I don't know why when I tried to place 300 px images, they didn't fix. But it's OK now as I finally decided to install the Metro theme, which is much wider.
