Oh der ... template was in the wrong folder ?
JPJP9MemberThanks Brad sorted. Stupidly the underlying image was really small and I hadn't realised. ?
JPJP9MemberSorry I don't understand. I'm passing 'full' as the size parameter
JPJP9MemberThis reply has been marked as private.JPJP9MemberThe only way I could find to fix this problem was to apply the following css - which isn't an ideal solution but it worked
aside#genesis-sidebar-primary .one-third { width: 100%; }
JPJP9MemberI'm currently developing locally
JPJP9MemberThe code is in archive-promotions.php The Genesis Featured Sandbox Widget is in the Primary Sidebar Widget.
Here is the sidebar
<aside id="genesis-sidebar-primary" class="sidebar sidebar-primary widget-area" itemtype="http://schema.org/WPSideBar" itemscope="" aria-label="Primary Sidebar" role="complementary"> <h2 class="genesis-sidebar-title screen-reader-text">Primary Sidebar</h2> <section id="featured-content-6" class="featured-content-upcoming-events featuredpost widget featured-content"> <div class="featured-content-upcoming-events featuredpost widget-wrap"> <h3 class="widgettitle widget-title">Upcoming Events</h3> <article class="post-263 news type-news status-publish has-post-thumbnail category-include-link-in-sidebar-events category-include-link-in-sidebar-news entry gs-1 gs-odd gs-featured-content-entry one-third" itemtype="http://schema.org/CreativeWork" itemscope=""> <article class="post-260 news type-news status-publish has-post-thumbnail category-include-link-in-sidebar-events entry gs-2 gs-even gs-featured-content-entry one-third" itemtype="http://schema.org/CreativeWork" itemscope="">
JPJP9MemberI don't know that he will be very helpful seeing its specific to genesis column classes and I'm trying to leave the widget out of the equation so I don't think a hook would help.
I thought changing
if( !$wp_query->is_main_query() )
to
` if(!$wp_query->is_main_query() && is_post_type_archive()) 'but it doesn't work - not really sure what I'm doing
the query being targeted is for custom post type 'promotions'JPJP9MemberThe sidebar has the genesis sandbox featured content widget
JPJP9MemberAwesome. Thank you so much. That worked.

May 11, 2016 at 11:51 pm in reply to: Highlighting Top Level Nav Menu Item when custom post type archive subpage selec #185439JPJP9MemberOk so maybe I don't ... Putting that rewrite in resulted in all the static pages under the resources menu returning 404's. Resaving permalinks didn't fix, so I had to remove it.
May 11, 2016 at 7:41 pm in reply to: Highlighting Top Level Nav Menu Item when custom post type archive subpage selec #185425JPJP9MemberThanks I have it working now Victor.
I had to add
'rewrite' => array( 'slug' => 'resources', 'with_front' => true ),
to the posttype setup combined with your function.Thanks for your help
May 11, 2016 at 7:22 pm in reply to: Highlighting Top Level Nav Menu Item when custom post type archive subpage selec #185423JPJP9MemberThat is adding 'current-menu-item active' to the submenu item (which is already there, so now its there twice) - its the parent that needs the class added - I think!
JPJP9MemberYes what you are saying definitely makes sense.
I'm using the Agent Press theme but could not find that function in the functions.php file
JPJP9MemberThanks heaps for your reply Tom.
Couldn't find that function in the function.php file? but changed a line in class-featured-listings-widget.php
to this
$loop .= sprintf('<span class="entry-title">' . ( get_the_title() ) . '</span>'.'<a href="%s">%s</a>', get_permalink(), genesis_get_image( array( 'size' => 'properties' ) ) );
and seems to be working.
thanks heaps
