It looks like you don't have anything defined for your "clear-line" class. You need to add this to your CSS
.clear-line { clear:both; }
jodzeeeMemberTry one of these tutorials:
http://wpsites.net/best-plugins/add-soliloquy-slider-in-header-of-any-theme/
http://wpsites.net/web-design/add-slider-before-content-sidebar-on-blog-page/or this:

jodzeeeMemberOh, thank you! I was focusing on the LI and not the UL and didn't see that.
Much appreciated!
jodzeeeMemberTony, look for
.genesis-nav-menu .sub-menu a { background-color: #333; font-size: 12px; padding: 12px 16px; position: relative; width: 175px;
(line 1004 in your style sheet)
and change the width to 289px
jodzeeeMemberNever mind. I found on this post I can do it using Yoast.
jodzeeeMemberallyson9 - did you figure this out? I'm also looking for a solution.
May 5, 2014 at 3:39 pm in reply to: Conditionally add additional property details in AgentPress #103760jodzeeeMemberStill looking for some help here. I don't know how to add a conditional statement to make this happen.
On the Available Properties page, I'd like to be able to add text on top of the image. So where it currently says "under construction" (as part of the image), I'd like to be able to change it at will (e.g., sold, new listing, etc.).
jodzeeeMemberOkay, I think I've got it!
/** Creates shortcode for recent posts */ function recent_posts_shortcode() { $args = array( 'category_name' => 'coupons', 'posts_per_page' => '1', ); $query = new WP_Query($args); if ( $query->have_posts() ) { while ( $query->have_posts() ) { $query->the_post(); return '<div class="coupon">' . get_the_content() . '</div>'; } } else { } wp_reset_postdata(); } function register_shortcodes(){ add_shortcode('recent-posts', 'recent_posts_shortcode'); } add_action( 'init', 'register_shortcodes');
One issue with it is that if I change the number of posts per page, it doesn't show more than one. In this case, it doesn't matter because I only want one, but I'm curious why it doesn't work. If I use "echo" instead of "return" it does work. However, it also puts the post above my content.
jodzeeeMemberI have a lot of plugins already installed and I'm trying to avoid using another one. Is there another way to create a shortcode in functions.php without using query_posts()?
jodzeeeMemberOops! Sorry for the duplicate post. Disregard this one!
March 26, 2014 at 12:53 pm in reply to: Conditionally add additional property details in AgentPress #96784jodzeeeMemberNo. Where exactly would it go? I'm not good at writing/understanding php, just copy/pasting and tweaking.
jodzeeeMemberHi Susan: I sort of forgot about this and finally revisited it. I poked around a little more and happened to find a post by YOU that was asking the same thing about how to link posts within a category ...
I was able to get Brad's code to show the links, but they still weren't linking to the right category. Nick's follow-up reply worked perfectly for what I needed!
jodzeeeMemberI'm also looking for advice for my first multilingual site. I'm not sure even where to start or how to estimate for my proposal to the client. I've never used Multisite - does that basically create a mirror of the site in a different language?
I think I'll only need the content to be multilingual, not any of the admin/dashboard area.
Loudness, what have you found in your research?
Thanks!
jodzeeeMemberHave you tried editing the "published on" date?
jodzeeeMemberThank you for the feedback!
jodzeeeMemberThank you soooooooooo much for your help! I appreciate the patience and perseverance!
jodzeeeMemberWhen I originally created the site, there was no blog or podcasts. I had manually added the "more" link to the excerpts on the home page and that's all I needed. Then later, when the podcasts and blog were added, I added code for the read more link for those, but it then appeared on the home page slider excerpts as well.
I could remove the manual link, but then I'd need another custom one that says "more" and I'd need it to be inline instead of under the excerpt (is that possible?).
But I found an easier solution ... I hid it in the CSS!
jodzeeeMemberYes, but I need them to be excerpts ... the text is an intro that links to a page. I manually added the "more" link in the excerpt.
jodzeeeMemberI just purged the cache, try again?
jodzeeeMemberOooh, getting closer! Now all I need is to get it off the home page.
