1). Did you consider adding thumbnails to the list items in the sidebar?
2). It seems the sidebar is closing when you go to a page for which the side bar has not been populated. In other words, it seems like you have different sidebars for the different pages. Do you want to have the sidebar visible even when there is no content?

Connecting the dots for you.Joshua DzibaMemberThis reply has been marked as private.Joshua DzibaMemberI have also run into this issue, and this solution is less than satisfactory, I must say. I can implement this solution as a developer, but my client will not be able to do the same, as they add more items (posts) to their portfolio. It seems that surely the theme core should be made to force horizontal alignment under any circumstances, especially if that is what the theme demo showed. To have to force horizontal alignment the way Brad is recommending here, on a post-by-post basis, for a client would be completely unacceptable to them. Certainly, Brad's workaround is NOT the way the theme designer presented how things should work, taking from the tutorial on setting up the theme. Not beating on you Brad, but just also saying, surely there can be an easier way.

Connecting the dots for you.Joshua DzibaMemberUPDATE: I have had to roll back to Genesis 1.9 on both sites I initially believed I had successfully implemented HTML5 on. It turns out that although things looked ok viewing the sites on Safari, the sites were completely broken when viewed on IE.

Connecting the dots for you.Joshua DzibaMemberI have successfully implemented & enabled HTML5 markup on two sites now running WP 3.6, Genesis2.0 and the Studiopress Maximum & BackCountry child themes. Will be glad to offer support to anyone needing to implement markup.
