Here are the instruction from the "setting up the home page" tutorial. they don't have a featured image and they still have the hover effect

1. Title: Use a title of your choice to describe the types of posts being featured.
2. Category: Select the category you wish to have displayed from the drop down.
3. Number of Posts to Show: The theme demo is designed to show 6 featured posts.
4. Show Featured Image: Uncheck the box to display Featured Images.
5. Show Post Title: Check the box to display the post title.
6. Show Post Info: Check the box to display the post info. Use the [post_date] shortcode.
7. Content Type: Select Show Content Limit.
8. Limit content: Set to 180 characters.
9. More Text (if applicable): Use the word More.

I DO have featured images selected for the photo versions. There is no image for the text pages -- nor is there text for the demo site for the Home Bottom widget area. I have played with the featured images and this has not solved the hover problem.

Any other ideas?

Should I start a new question? I want to do the same thing and I can't figure out how to do it. Please see this:

I just want viewers to be able to look at the thumbs, click and see bigger on the same page. Clean. No effects. Please let me know
