It may not have any effect, but one issue I sometimes have is the browser cache - I think I am looking at the updated version, only to refresh the browser and/or clear cache to see the results change.
Hope that helps.

SavvyJackieMemberHi,
Sounds like you want to have a custom archive page for that one category.
These may be of some help in getting you started:

SavvyJackieMemberHi,
I noticed several of the values are missing the px after them.For example:
#content { width: 650; }
should be:
#content { width: 650px; }
That may be affecting the results as those values are ignored.

SavvyJackieMemberHave you tried saving your Permalinks again?
Settings -> Permalinks
That sometimes is the issue.

SavvyJackieMemberMy pleasure. One of those quirky things I guess.
"Overflow:
The second method, which is preferred by most people (I think) is to change the CSS of the parent element so that the overflow is anything but "visible". So setting the overflow to "hidden" will force the parent to stretch beyond the bottom of the floated child. This is only true if you haven't set a height on the parent, of course."

May 29, 2015 at 1:36 pm in reply to: Why is this White Space showing up on mobile devices using Parallax Pro ? #154152SavvyJackieMemberThe white space is showing where the image ends. The background color is set to white. Try changing that in whatever file it is in.
As shown now:.styles .home-odd { background-color: #fff; color: #000; }
Change to:
.styles .home-odd { background-color: #000; <----- black color: #fff; <-- white }

SavvyJackieMemberAdd overflow: hidden; to the section.book3 - that should do it and leave the height as auto.

SavvyJackieMemberTry specifying a min-height of 520px or so instead of height: auto;

SavvyJackieMemberAh. Looks like the demo puts the primary nav in the Header Right Widget area - using a Custom Menu widget.
Try that and don't assign the primary menu to any location.

SavvyJackieMemberHi,
I do not see a section with class book3 on your homepage. This is what appears where a section class book3 might go.<div id="tr" class="_mPS2id-t mPS2id-target mPS2id-target-first mPS2id-target-last"> <span><p></p> <div class="book3"> <div class="one-half first" style="text-align: center;">Teaching Resource 01<a href="http://jonwalter.net/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/cw01.png"><img class="aligncenter wp-image-177 size-full" src="http://jonwalter.net/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/cw01.png" alt="TeachingResource01" width="200" height="200"></a></div> <div class="one-half" style="text-align: center;">Teaching Resource 02<a href="http://jonwalter.net/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/cw02.png"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-176" src="http://jonwalter.net/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/cw02.png" alt="cw02" width="200" height="200"></a></div> <div class="one-half first" style="text-align: center;">Teaching Resource 01<a href="http://jonwalter.net/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/cw01.png"><img class="aligncenter wp-image-177 size-full" src="http://jonwalter.net/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/cw01.png" alt="TeachingResource01" width="200" height="200"></a></div> <div class="one-half" style="text-align: center;">Teaching Resource 02<a href="http://jonwalter.net/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/cw02.png"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-176" src="http://jonwalter.net/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/cw02.png" alt="cw02" width="200" height="200"></a></div> <div class="one-half first"></div> </div> <p> </p></span></div>

SavvyJackieMemberYes, it should work as seen in the demo:
http://demo.studiopress.com/daily-dish/layouts/scs/
Check the default layout setting in Genesis and on any pages where might have overridden it with another layout.

SavvyJackieMemberThe front page does not have any primary navigation html output, so that means something in the code is preventing it from generating.
I would compare the original Parallax pro theme front-page.php and functions.php to your modified code. The menu is showing on other pages as seen here:
so it must be specific to the homepage.
check front-page.php file and functions.php carefully against originals.

SavvyJackieMemberOk,
Next I would check your front-page.php and your functions.php to see if you've removed or relocated the primary nav.
