I removed the adverts but the problem didn't go away, so maybe it's something else?

    Hi,

Thanks, but the ads are "Google responsive" ads... so I don't understand why they are causing the issue. Shouldn't they adapt to the size of the screen? I thought that was the whole point of them?

Actually, I don't think I need it... just putting the ad code in the hook and removing the instance in the widget seems to have achieved the desired results! Brilliant stuff, thanks again.

genesis_before_loop looks to hit the spot! Can you give me more help with the (!is_front_page()) condition?

Okay, this gets weird.... When I look using Chrome or IE I see the ads... but not in Firefox. I've switched all my ad units over to responsive ones now and I don't understand why they don't work in Firefox for me? I'm not using an ad-blocker...

Here are screenshots of all three browsers on my computer:

    1) Internet Explorer

This one shows all three ad units correctly but has a weird display issue with the image on the SolaSpot Review, it's bigger than it should be. Any ideas why?

    2) Chrome

Shows all ad units correctly, has the correct image size for articles, this is the best example and shows how it SHOULD look.

    3) Firefox

This doesn't display ANY ad units but it does at least get the article image correct!

So, is it just me that has this strange problem with Firefox?
