MemberHi,
I've tried adding an anchor e.g.
<a name="smart"></a>
. I've also tried using an ID instead of name e.g.<a ID="smart"></a>
. When I link to them e.g.https://total-pitch.com/2017/01/19/equity-crowdfunding-i-learnt-three-years-crowdcube-pt-1/#smart
the page loads in pretty much the right place but the point where the anchor / ID is in the HTML sits behind the navigation. I'm obviously missing something but I don't know what. Thanks,
James

MemberSorry Brad, but I'm none the wiser - how does adding <class id="top"> stop the anchored content I'm linking to being covered by the navigation? I know it's probably a numpty question but I'm pretty new to this.
Thanks again,
James

MemberHi Brad, thanks for replying.
I've had a look in the source for an ID after the nav and hero image (up to line 281) and there isn't one there but could I manually add <class id="top"> in the Text view of the editor to each page or post?
Thanks again,
James

MemberHi both,
Thanks for your help, it's really appreciated.
Patrick from http://writenowdesign.com/ was a great help and we pretty much got there but the plugin suggested by anambliss nailed it without needing to edit any code.
Thanks again for taking the time to help.
All the best,
James

MemberThanks Brad but I'm none the wiser - I'm a total novice at php as you may have guessed 🙂
Do you know of any walkthroughs that cover this?
Cheers,
James

MemberHi, thanks for the reply.
I want something like the mock-up below so I'm guessing it would be classed as a custom image? Although happy for it to be classed as a featured image.
Thanks again,
James
