Anyone out there that can help? I posted this weeks ago
healthyvoyagerMemberIt always worked fine on my computer and laptop but not on mobile devices. Any ideas?
healthyvoyagerMemberLook, my custom header image is responsive, it shows up fine on all screen sizes. I got that working with no problem when I started this re-design.
The ONLY thing I need to do is be able to make it clickable so it links back to the home page - that's it. How to I make it clickable? Everything else is fine
healthyvoyagerMemberThe code in lines 926-937 is exactly the code from the instructions on the post you sent me to and it said thi:
3. Add this code to the bottom of your theme stylesheet:
So I added that exact code to the bottom of my stylesheet, just like it said but you are telling me it's wrong and that I should follow the instruction of the post you said but that's exactly what I did?
What is going on?
healthyvoyagerMemberI already did this: First, follow the 4 steps described in Option 6 of “Getting Your Head Around Header Images” but for Step 3 use the following CSS code
and this: Also, those <script> items in style.css… ” (lines 926 through 937, maybe others)
I haven;t touched code before this so it's just what came with tht theme or when I updated from my old one so I have no idea what any of that is
please help!
healthyvoyagerMemberI have no idea what this means:
Also, those <script> items in style.css are in the wrong place (certainly not for this file). It appears that you want these to appear in the page <head> section. Place the scripts using the first box under Genesis > Theme Settings > Header and Footer Scripts. (“Enter scripts or code you would like output to wp_head():”)
i followed the directions exactly from the reference post. not sure what is going wrong
healthyvoyagerMemberi'm not a coder at all so all of this is super confusing to me,haha! it never seemed this difficult with past themes and I thought this update would keep me from having to mess with code
healthyvoyagerMemberso weird! i totally followed the instructions exactly as mentioned in the post you sent. Where am I supposed to place the code? It said at the bottom of style.css and functions.php
healthyvoyagerMemberThanks! I added the code exactly but my header is still not clickable ; (
Let me know what you think I should do. Thanks!
healthyvoyagerMemberi'm a complete novice and have no idea what I'm doing and my whole site is gone and inaccesible
healthyvoyagerMemberi can't even access the functions.php anymore ; (
healthyvoyagerMemberthis is the code I have in there:
//* Remove the default header
remove_action( 'genesis_header', 'genesis_do_header' );//* Add custom header
add_action( 'genesis_header', 'sk_do_header' );
function sk_do_header() {echo '';
}
healthyvoyagerMemberThanks! And how can I make my custom header clickable back to the home page?
healthyvoyagerMemberI just tried to upload a header but it only gives me a little rectangle in the middle of the header. I want the entire header to be custom, not just a tiny rectangle.
Do i need to use code to override this? ugh
healthyvoyagerMemberi updated the design pallete pro and it came up ; )
healthyvoyagerMembergot it - switched ; )
