Thank you - that did it. I think I was a bit brain dead after all the customizations.

I found the "Return to Top of Page" text set in the Genesis/lib/shortcodes/footer.php. It appears that no matter what you put in theme's function file, or using simple edits, the Genesis setting is taking precedence over our custom settings. I have tried all the above solutions you have and cannot get this to change to just "Top" like it is in the Fabric theme.

April 3, 2013 at 8:04 pm in reply to: How do I make Genesis Slider "Full Width" on custom Child Theme Template? #32985giraffewebParticipantLooks like I got it to work by using the genesis_before_content_sidebar_wrap hook but I had to make the .wrap 100% width so I have other issues to deal with on layout now. Thanks for the code above for me to play with.

I have tried all kinds of things to get it to work to no avail. Here is the site: http://www.sccampsandretreat.org. I cannot figure out how to make this work above the #inner div. Outreach has #inner before #content so this appears to put the slideshow before content fine but I can't get it above the #inner.
giraffewebParticipantSo, I guess you guys did not ever get an answer to your questions above? I am trying to make the slideshow full width too. I found out how to do it on the ElevenHundred theme (http://wpcanada.ca/2013/full-width-slider-in-elevenhundred/), but not Outreach but I am hoping this will enlighten me to find out if it can be done.
giraffewebParticipantYes there are fees with askimet if it is used for business but free for a personal blog. I have several legacy accounts from when it was free and it is working wonderfully with those.

giraffewebParticipantI upgraded the Prose theme to WP 3.5 and the editor stopped working. I was able to get part of it back by adding to my wp-config.php file
define('SCRIPT_DEBUG', true);
above
/* That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */but I could not get some of the editing functions to work, like linking, etc. so I took out the above code in the wp-config.php and installed the Google libraries plugin and it fixed my editor problems. I will tell you I have a theme I inherited from another popular wp themehouse and neither of these fixed the problem with the theme so I am happy that I am using StudioPress themes when I need a custom theme!I also am using the newest Outreach theme and upgrading to WP3.5 doesn't seem to have affected it in any way in case anyone is wondering about updating their WP with that theme.
