I'm having trouble because I'm a bit of a moron when it comes to CSS.

I made the logo smaller.

But I'm not sure where I'm supposed to place the "#header" code.

Also, I tried the code for the navigation you (Lauren) posted and it didn't work.

I'm very sure that I'm doing something wrong or missing a step. Please help. lol

The only thing I would change after that is centering the featured image. But that alone would be great.

@braddalton: The instructions listed in the link you sent are great for altering the featured image placement on single posts. I tried using the code listed for static pages but it didn't work.

I need to learn how to edit the details of how posts appear in the blog (or category) archive.

I listed a faulty URL before. This is the URL where you can see what I'm talking about: http://variousconversations.com/category/blog/

I want to show the TITLE first, the featured image under it (possibly centered), and the content text under the featured images aligned to the left.

I hope I'm not confusing anyone reading this.
