Go to the Editor and change your css from what it is currently
body { background-color: #fff; color: #4e4e4e; font-family: 'Open Sans', sans-serif; font-size: 18px; font-weight: 300; letter-spacing: 0.5px; line-height: 1.625; margin: 0; }
TO THIS
body { background-color: #fff; color: #000; font-family: 'Open Sans', sans-serif; font-size: 18px; font-weight: 300; letter-spacing: 0.5px; line-height: 1.625; margin: 0; }
FoxyMarmaladeMemberI tried what you suggested, plus many other different things with multiple different settings and I just can't get this to work. Is there a better way to add header images to pages without calling for the thumbnail?
FoxyMarmaladeMemberAdmin, will you delete? I should have posted this question in the design tips section.
FoxyMarmaladeMemberThat worked perfectly! Thank you so much for your help!!
FoxyMarmaladeMemberI should also add that I switched to the Parallax theme. I'm no longer using Cafe Pro on this site.
FoxyMarmaladeMemberThank you again for the links, I was successful in getting the logo centered in the navigation. Looks great full screen and on mobile, but there's something weird happening when I adjust the width of my browser to make it smaller. The logo is getting pushed over top of the nav on the left side and the two nav items on the right get pushed down a line. I'm sure it's just a css issue, but I'm having a really difficult time figuring it out. Would you have a look and let me know what you think?
FoxyMarmaladeMemberThank you, emasai! I'll check out the link and report back.
FoxyMarmaladeMemberNo, not yet. I have it in maintenance mode while I'm developing it. I can set you up with a login if you'd like to take a look at it.
FoxyMarmaladeMemberI found some code to reference and made some modifications to what I had. I've tried a zillion things, so I'm not exactly sure how I did it, but I think I just figured this out..... it's working!!! 🙂
FoxyMarmaladeMemberHi Brad!
Could we use an image instead of the icon? If so, I think that would work just fine.
I need one menu that says:
INTERIOR SERVICES
For your homeAnd another below that that says:
EXTERIOR SERVICES
For your homeThose could easily be images instead of text.
FoxyMarmaladeMemberHi Brad!
Thank you for the replies. I'm glad to know this isn't as easy as I thought it should be - makes me feel a little better about not being able to get it to work. Given my skill level at this time, hiring someone to do it would be a better option for me - can you recommend someone I can get in touch with?
Thanks!
