You're absolutely right about the text size issue! Do you have any advice on how I could achieve this desired effect in a responsive manner with the image set as a background?

Hi everyone, I'm having a similar issue. I want to create a full width image (that the user can upload themselves) that spans the full width of the page, not just the site content. How can I do that - I'm pretty much despairing over here 🙁
I'm just creating a Genesis Child Theme from the Basic Theme, not based off any of the other themes.
