    Great! Thank you. I also discovered I could turn on Comments via Quick Edit (though how to do it via editing an individual post was escaping me).

    Thanks for setting that up -- I'd love to have that!

    I have turned off all plugins and the comment area still doesn't show up.

    The only thing I see on edit-post mode is a section for Comments and the only content is an Add Comment button. If I use this button, I can add a comment to the post.

    Unfortunately, I DO know whether or not people will click through many pages to find a buy link for a book. They won't.

    This theme limiting us to three buy options is not useful. If we use multiple bookstores, we use 4 or more. There are some authors who like to link to individual Amazon stores (Amazon US, Amazon UK, Amazon DE, etc.).

    Is there really no way around this?

    Okay, I tried flushing the cache (the plugin said the cache was empty, but I hit Flush anyhow) and nothing's changed with the icon.

    The background picture has now changed (annoyingly), but the twitter/facebook/google+ icons are still messed up.

    I do. The settings for the Twitter icon in Simply Social I set the two sites to be identical.
