Maybe but I'd rather fix the issue. Do you know someone who does this sort of thing? I'm not looking for free. I'm willing to pay someone to fix it. Thanks.
November 18, 2015 at 1:45 pm in reply to: Maybe OT: Where can I find a reputable wordpress developer? #171454djfit99MemberIt is shared hosting with their highest level of shared hosting. I was previously with WPEngine and never had problems but theirs got expensive for my site that makes no money. So, I switched 9/18/15.
ETA: It's been a problem since the beginning. So far I've tried:
1) deactivating all plugins. That helped a bit.
2) disabled the wp-cron file and managed cron through the server at 3 hour intervals
3) Reactivated plugins one by one.
4) denied IP's that were trying to spam the site
5) protected the wp-admin panel
6) created a robots.txt file to help manage search enginesAlso, before WPEngine I used host monster and host gator. Same problems with CPU usage there. I don't know what's wrong and have followed all the instructions from the host and those I could find online.
djfit99MemberThank you so much! That fixed it perfectly.
djfit99MemberI tried but I couldn't find it. I am using Safari developer. With all due respect, your answer is not helpful.

I don't even know how to thank you. I appreciate it so much.
August 21, 2014 at 4:22 pm in reply to: Menu Has Bullet Points and is Vertical: Lifestyle Pro #120347djfit99MemberI don't think there is any leftover code. I just deleted the Genesis theme and reinstalled it from a fresh download. I also deleted the Lifestyle Pro theme and reinstalled it from a fresh download as well. You can see now what is happening is that the menus are still wrong.
I appreciate your help very much.
August 21, 2014 at 4:12 pm in reply to: Menu Has Bullet Points and is Vertical: Lifestyle Pro #120339djfit99MemberI deleted it and reinstalled it. No change.
One thing I noticed is in the Genesis Theme settings in the menu setting the "Custom Nav Menu" button is selected. I cannot get that to deselect. The use primary navigation and use secondary navigation menus are checked.
Could the custom nav menu be a problem? I mean, the fact that I cannot uncheck it?
August 21, 2014 at 4:05 pm in reply to: Menu Has Bullet Points and is Vertical: Lifestyle Pro #120335djfit99MemberI went to appearance>menus>tabs and both menus have the appropriate locations assigned. Primary and Secondary Navigation Bar. I deactivated the plugins you recommended and nothing happened. I cleared the cache to make certain.

August 21, 2014 at 3:28 pm in reply to: Menu Has Bullet Points and is Vertical: Lifestyle Pro #120312djfit99MemberI didn't change anything. I just updated to the latest version of Genesis. Activated the Lifestyle Pro and that's what happened. No Nav Plugin or Dynamik.
