thank you for your suggestions and apologies for the delay in sending those thanks. Got busy with other things. Will tinker with it using your input when I get a chance.

Thanks, but that will change the background for all input areas on all forms and I want to eliminate the background just behind the PayPal donate button. I believe it has to do with specifying the textarea ID (which is 710776925) but I'm not exactly sure how to do that.

Paypal is incorporated into the widget by just pasting the button code generated by their website:
