Davinder, Thanks! It looks like it will take take sitting down with someone who knows about themes from different providers and working out which one fits best with the least amount of customization and expense.
Yes, good point about being unlikely to find a theme that fits the theme want list right "out of the box". But I certainly can find one that comes closest and requires the least amount of customization, and consequently the least amount of additional time, effort and expense.

crbeddMemberDavinder, Thank you!! for providing names of Themes that best fit my requirements. I think that is done in http://tinyurl.com/themewantlist but made it clearer and copied it below.
However, the visual of the layout in 1 doesn’t copy and paste right, and needs to be seen in that link. If there is anything missing in the requirements or theme want list, let me know.
Thanks again for the Theme names. Anyone is welcomed to make any responsive Theme suggestions.
Randy
Responsive Theme (RT) Want List
1 Layout for the top of the website and its web pages. It doesn’t copy and paste right, and can only be seen at http://tinyurl.com/themewantlist
The topics that Max Fulfillment, the main title is for are Adult Student and Career Services, and Administrator, Staff and Faculty Development.
A The top of the website and its pages has two bars. The top bar is the navigation bar with the title of the website, Max Fulfillment in the first tab.
The second bar below it is a slider divided in half. The left half has fixed or moving text; can choose which one. The second other half has fixed or moving pictures, images; can choose which one.
B Colors are preferably something like blue, green, crimson not white, black, grey. Colors of sides, background, lettering are changeable not fixed; don’t’ have to change the code to change a color.
2 Best full, complete, top quality responsive, mobile friendly theme. Theme is already totally responsive; it doesn’t have to be made into one.
3 Responsive theme (RT) that is capable of that real professional, top quality look and feel, grabs attention, makes you want to read and take advantage of the website. Any ideas or suggestions are welcomed.
4 RT that is capable of and supports a neat, classy, professional looking logo or something distinctive, outstanding for Max Fulfillment in the first bar and Maximizing, optimizing success/ fulfillment in the 2nd. Any ideas or suggestions are welcomed.
5 RT that fully enables and supports a website that’s based on top quality, best practice internet and on ground marketing. Includes the best SEO, etc. for internet marketing and selling. How is that done?
6 A regular, business, ecommerce type theme and website that will have a store with affiliate programs and selling my own educational materials. How is that set up?
7 Other? Anything missed, or not taken into consideration that should be?
crbeddMemberDavinder, Hi! Thank you so much for your thoughtful, detailed reply answering all my questions. As mentioned this is only my second time looking at themes, so your knowledge, expertise and experience is greatly appreciated.
It looks like my responsive theme want list http://tinyurl.com/themewantlist might have helped that was under my name at the end instead in the beginning.
I need to get a website up as soon as possible, and thought the theme selection was just about settled. Now it feels like “back to square one”; things knocked off the table and all over the floor so to speak. I am not sure how to put the pieces back together again.
It seems back to the question of what is the best responsive theme for the theme want list, and maybe that is not a Studio Press one.
My understanding was to pick a theme as close to what you want so changes, modifications, revamping, additions, subtractions, coding or recoding would be minimized. I had picked the Executive Pro because it was the closest I had seen so far to 1 in the theme want list.
But now some of the needed features for the responsive theme want list might not be in the Executive Pro and/or need some coding, code editing. If I want to set Max Fulfillment off like I have it in 1, then its better to go with the full width layout that the parallax theme has.
That is just for 1. What about the other items in the theme want list and whether executive pro, parallax, lifestyle or some other theme is best, a better match/fit.
Any thoughts, suggestions, resolution is welcomed.
Thanks, Randy

I wanted to get back to you about how the two links you gave me were helpful in checking out and learning more about Themes. I especially liking knowing the ratings of what themes are used and who provides them.
Thanks!! Randy
June 14, 2014 at 9:26 am in reply to: Finding a theme, framework that matches/fits theme want list #109724crbeddMemberAnitac, Thanks for your reply. It is much appreciated. I really want to settle on a theme, framework, and move on to creating the site. I have been looking at lots and lots and lots of themes, and asking many, many sources about themes, frameworks that fulfill the theme want list, especially 1. I had initially seen one that gave me the idea for 1, but it was too restrictive, limiting. Recoding was required just to change the color.
When I came across the Executive Pro, I couldn’t believe my eyeballs and had to rub them a couple of times. Was it a mirage like being in a hot desert too long, tired and thirsty.
So yes, I have looked at other themes and would like the Executive Pro to be the model, but would like the questions I posted about it answered, and the items below are considerations.
Also, are there any other options, is there any other theme, framework in the theme, framework universe that is like the Executive Pro, and fulfills 1 and the rest of the theme want list?
I think the theme want list has the features I want, but maybe there is 9 Other? Anything missed, or not taken into consideration that should be? I am not exactly sure what you mean by looking like aesthetically. That makes me think of colors, and 3 and 8 in the theme want list.
I want help with getting the site started like I did with the first WP site, but prefer someone who can cover 5 really well, and really knows, is experienced in top quality, best practice internet and on ground marketing, selling, promoting, PR. That is a top priority and goes right along with 6. A regular, business, ecommerce type theme and website that will have a store with affiliate programs and selling my own educational materials.
I think that answers your questions and has what I am thinking of or would like. Any other ideas or suggestions from you or anyone else is welcomed and appreciated.
Thanks!!!
