Okay I will check those 2 out... right now I just found All In One Event Calendar but I can only publish the actual calendar on a separate page, not on the home page widgeted area. The only widget is the upcoming events which just lists them out. But they want a calendar actually to be on the home page too.
So thanks for sharing those others will see if they can display the calendar in a widget area.
Thank you!

I will DEFINITELY check this out.
Thank you so much.

I don't know about Premise...I will look that up. I'm not sure though how it would work with them wanting their own blog for their Intranet on this new "page"... while at the same time having their Corporate Blog going on (as it is now in the Education theme).
Yes they were indeed wanting a calendar plugin (like Google Calendar).
I just don't know if you can truly have an Intranet site built on the same theme/installation as their corporate main website.

I think what this client wants to have accomplished is just not possible. I will open up a new topic because I REALLY need feedback if it even is.
Thank you SoZo!

computerkittenMemberOh okay I didn't know the Premise was a plugin so I will check that out. Sounds like a good alternative solution to Wishlist too. I really appreciate your feedback thank you!!
computerkittenMemberAlso is the Wishlist plugin still the way to go for a membership site?
Thanks!
computerkittenMemberWell the employee information would be a member area... so I assume that you all agree to have a separate WordPress website built (maybe on a subdomain) for the employees of the company to be able to login to and see the owner's blog posts, event calendar, etc.
I will though check out the Highrise by 37 Signals.
Thanks for the feedback!
computerkittenMemberI've taken a brief look at Yoast... looks like a lot of "guidance" with the settings... which could be helpful!
CK
computerkittenMemberOkay then Yoast it is...thank you for writing back, appreciate it!
Thanks,CK

Did I setup something wrong?
Thanks!!CK
November 18, 2012 at 10:59 am in reply to: If you have Multisite.. you really have to make updates on each sub-site? #559computerkittenMemberOkay thank you both for clarifying that! Andrea told me about that Replicator plugin... I will look at that some more. I was hoping that the "mother" site of pages would populate somehow to the "child" sites but it sounds like that is not the case. Okay now that I know how it works, will move forward.
Thank you very much.
