Thanks, Yes I did this on my own. I learned from other people's posts and took some online classes in wordpress/photoshop and css.

Not sure how I reduce the header hight as it still says 168px in my css, Also I wanted the header to the side and not centre.

Thanks for the help just delete all theme's and re installed them through my ftp and it seems to be working fine.

Just check and only have wp-content/themes/genesis/(load of files)
