    Well, i choose a different way to add a google map in my widget area with an iframe ( width 100% and height fixed ); i've got just a little problem with the height which doesn't fill entirely the widget area even when i change it .

    hi everybody
    i've read carefuly all posts about google map and i didn't find out how to manage it.
    It seems to have 2 solutions :
    the one Carlo suggest. I'm working on Cafe pro theme and i couldn't succed to put the iframe in a widget area.
    The other solution is to use WP google map plugin which allow to use a shortcode, but first you need to add some code in your function.php in order to make possible the use of shortcode in a text widget :

    add_filter( 'widget_text', 'shortcode_unautop');
    add_filter( 'widget_text', 'do_shortcode');

    But i've got ( also !! ) a problem with that: nothing happens in the widget.
    so... i would like to know if somebody found out a good method for a google map integration.
    Thanks
