    Thanks for the info. I feel like an idiot now. I did change it in the CSS, and didn't change it in the Functions.php file. That code above though was actually already in the file, I just had to change the height and it was done! Super easy.

    Thanks for that.

    Just a question, any idea why this info is not in the supporting documentation for each theme? Seems like it is a no brainer to me to include changing the header in the supporting documentation since I would imagine this is a common change for many people.

    Interesting, I always just change it in the functions.php file where the stock Header values are, I just change them to what I need, I have never added in additional code like above. What is the difference and or benefits to either method?

    Now that being said... I cannot remember for the life of me how to upload the new larger header!!! I changed the dimensions in the functions.php file, which increased the header size.

    Does anyone know where I add in the Custom Header at via FTP? The problem is you cannot upload it in the theme because it makes you crop it!
