Its not that difficult because all you need to do is paste the code into your child themes init.php file.
HG won't help you with coding.
Link to your site please.
Brad DaltonParticipantThe style sheet uses rem values with a pixel fallback.
The rem values are calculated per the examples below:12 / 16 = 0.75rem
14 / 16 = 0.875rem
16 / 16 = 1rem
18 / 16 = 1.125rem
20 / 16 = 1.25rem
24 / 16 = 1.5rem
30 / 16 = 1.875rem
36 / 16 = 2.25rem
42 / 16 = 2.625rem
48 / 16 = 3rem1. Add this CSS code to the end of your child themes style.css file:
.sidebar.widget-area { font-size: 12px; font-size: 0.75rem; }
Adjust the values for the sidebar font size using the chart above.
2. Go into your child themes style.css file and open it using a text editor like Notepad++.
Find line 548 and change the code from this:
.post-meta { border-top: 1px solid #CCCCCC; padding-top: 1.5rem; }
To this:
.post-meta { border-top: none; padding-top: 1.5rem; }
Brad DaltonParticipantYou could add a widget area above the slider using a custom function or by editing the home.php file which is more complicated.
You could also use content columns in the text widget to separate the content into 2, 3 or 4 columns.
Brad DaltonParticipantBrad DaltonParticipantBrad DaltonParticipantDifferent ways to do this.
You can create a custom page template or add some CSS using custom classes or page i.d which is the easiest.
What width?
Brad DaltonParticipantThanks Charlie.
I'll help you with the styling once i see your site Freddie.
Brad DaltonParticipantOk. Simply change the hook in the above code snippet and also register a widget. Grab the code using the link above to Nicks site.
Brad DaltonParticipantI'd suggest you install Wordfence and use a really long password.
Is this resolved now?
Brad DaltonParticipantIts in the Prose theme folder. Use FTP or File Manager in cPanel and go to wp-content/themes/prose/lib/init.php
Go to lib/init.php. Backup the file first and copy the code from the raw view.
Open the file using a text editor like Notepad++
This will add a widget area.
You can also style it easily using CSS if needed.
Brad DaltonParticipantYeah it is and i wrote about it recently.
Here's the code that goes in the child themes lib/init.php file.

Brad DaltonParticipantShow me what your site looked like before and i will help you make it look the way the want to the best of my ability. Other community members will also help you with styling your site and creating the functions you need.
Brad DaltonParticipantBrad DaltonParticipantBrad DaltonParticipantHow did you change domains? What method did you use?
You can't simply change the DNS and WordPress or site address to change domains.
You need to export the database and change all the file paths and urls using a plugin like WP Migrate DB then import the SQL file into a new DB.
You'll then need to configure your wp-config file with the new db connections details and create an addon domain for the new domain.
Then you change the DNS if your files have moved to another server otherwise leave them pointing at the same host.
Brad DaltonParticipantUsing this map, what hook location? http://genesistutorials.com/visual-hook-guide/
Use the code from this snippet
After Post Subscribe Boxadd_action( 'genesis_after_post_content', 'child_after_post_box' ); /** Loads a new sidebar after the post on single pages*/ function child_after_post_box() { if( is_home() ) { echo '<div class="after-post-box">'; dynamic_sidebar( 'after-post-box' ); echo '</div>'; }}
Change the hook if needed.
Brad DaltonParticipantGenesis > Theme Settings > Custom Feeds. What do you have in there?
Brad DaltonParticipantYou could burn it with Feedburner and add the new feed address to the Genesis settings.
