Ok I dug around and found code to add to my functions.php file. I added the following:

/* Code to Display Featured Image on top of the post */
add_action( 'genesis_before_post', 'featured_post_image', 8 );
function featured_post_image() {
if ( ! is_singular( 'post' ) ) return;
the_post_thumbnail('thumbnail');
}

this works fine but I need the image to be to the left of the title and this places it above the title of the post.

Any Suggestions?

Thanks but that didn't change anything for me. I looked at it in IE Chrome and Firefox and it is still huge.

It has to be something with the new responsive themes as I have balance and epik and I get the same results. I really wanted to change this but unless I find a fix i am going to have to go back to the old version.

Can you explain how you did that? I have been trying to do the same thing but it looks out of sync. I am no programmer and jsut tried a div
