I can help you with that - you will need to upload the background image they are using and then reference it in the css. The fonts should be pretty simple - do you just want the headers bigger or to also use the same font as Metro?

Blue Steele SolutionsbluesteelesolutionsMemberWow - I Just spent a good 20 minutes on your site, love the purpose and the content. My son has some development delays and we often feel like you did - a bit lost and unsure of his future.
The design I really like - just a few comments on that.
- The style of bold text bugs me a little - with the top and bottom borders I feel like you're disguising links and that reminded me of some shady affiliate sites. Just leave it as bold, take off the borders and background color. It will be easier to read and look more natural.
- The breadcrumb text could use a higher line height
- You use the block quote quite a bit and I feel like it is too light. I had trouble reading some of the longer text in that style. Darken it up just a tad.
- Menu text, especially in drop downs, is pretty small.
Great job over all though!

Blue Steele SolutionsbluesteelesolutionsMemberAre you using custom page templates for the category and author pages? If so, check that there's not an issue in those template files. Are you running any kind of caching plugin that needs to be cleared since you disabled the permalinks plugin?

Blue Steele SolutionsbluesteelesolutionsMemberHave you checked permissions on the "missing" genesis files? Can you provide a url to the site?

Blue Steele SolutionsbluesteelesolutionsMemberWhew that is tiny! It looks like you can set the font size on line 18 of the CSS if you want all the body content to increase. For the "p" tags only in the content add a font size to #content .post p on line 984 of style.css
