I used this plugin to solve my needs: AVH Extended Categories Widgets
Ben SiegfriedMemberMy Solution: plugin: page-links-to
Ben SiegfriedMemberI'm pretty sure it has to do with this:
img {
max-width: 100%;
}
Line 296 in the stylesheet. When you turn off "max-width: 100%" the image will go to it's size. I'm not sure why Chrome is doing that but that seems to be the cause.
Ben SiegfriedMemberI don't really know the setup for this theme but it probably has to do with adding a Featured Image for each of the posts you want down there.
Ben SiegfriedMemberAre you talking about the gray background and borders around NATURE'S SUNSHINE?
If so, you can remove those styles by targeting that widget by its ID. It is id="text-3"
background-color: #fff;
border-bottom: 0px solid #fff;
border-top: 0px solid #fff;
That may be a quick fix, but not really the fix you're looking for. It's hard to know what you're seeing back there in the Widgets area. To me, it looks like you have a text widget installed there and that you need to remove it.
NATURE'S SUNSHINE has a .class with the following CSS:
.tfl_head_css {
font-weight: bold;
text-align: center;
background-color: #636;
font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;
font-style: normal;
color: #FF6;
height: 15px;
width: 195px;
margin-left: 11px;
padding-bottom: 0.25em;
padding-top: 0.5em;
border-color: #FF6;
border-width: 7px;
border-style: double;
font-size: 12px;
margin-top: 50px;
}
I added margin-top of 50px. Maybe this will all help you see what is going on?
Other than that you will need to provide more information.
Ben SiegfriedMemberjQuery(document).ready(function($) { $("#menu-header-navigation").before('<div id="header-menu-icon"></div>'); $("#header-menu-icon").click(function() { $("#menu-header-navigation").slideToggle(); }); $(window).resize(function(){ if(window.innerWidth > 1139) { $("#menu-header-navigation").removeAttr("style"); } }); });
The div #header-menu-icon isn't inserting before #menu-header-navigation on any of the site's pages except the Homepage.
It's like this on the homepage:<nav class=""> <div id="#header-menu-icon"></div> <ul id="#menu-header-navigation"></div> </nav>
And like this on every other page:
<nav class=""> <ul id="#menu-header-navigation"></div> </nav>
The menu is there it just doesn't display because it is set to display:none for the div #header-menu-icon to reveal the menu. If you comment out display:none for that ID the menu will show on all pages, but the #header-menu-icon div isn't there to toggle it to close, or open when it's set to display:none.
You could rename this div #header-menu-icon almost anything, like "hubeflube" and it won't insert, so I don't think it's a conflict of IDs.
Why isn't the #header-menu-icon div not inserting for all of the other pages?
Have any suggestions on what to try?Ben SiegfriedMemberFirst of all it always helps to include a link to your site.
Use Firebug or Web Developer tools to inspect the element by right-clicking on it.
The more tag link in CSS should look something like the following, in which case I have it set to not have any margin or padding on the bottom. You probably have extra space below because of margin/padding.
#featured-post-2 a.more-link {
border-bottom: none;
clear: both;
display: block;
font-size: 16px;
margin-top: 15px;
padding: 0px 10px;
text-align: center;
text-transform: uppercase;
}

// Add search widget below header.
add_action( 'genesis_after_header', 'wap_search_bar' );
function wap_search_bar() {genesis_widget_area( ‘search-bar’, array(
'before'=> '<div class="search-bar"><div class="wrap">',
'after' => '</div></div>',
) );
}

February 25, 2014 at 11:16 pm in reply to: Winning Agent Pro Search Bar to show only on homepage? #92408Ben SiegfriedMemberIsn't the hook area used for the .search-bar one that would appear on every page? I understand hooks to some degree…
I haven't used widget logic, I'll take a look at it.
February 25, 2014 at 5:15 pm in reply to: Winning Agent – jQuery Lightbox For Native Galleries? #92359Ben SiegfriedMemberI imagine so. I would think that most any gallery plugin would work. I am customizing this theme right now and am using FooBox and it's working great.
Ben SiegfriedMemberJust looked at the dev site. I was blind, now I see.
Ben SiegfriedMemberCarrie, either I'm blind or that CPT isn't showing in my Dashboard. I'm not at the computer right now that has the dev site, but I'll let you know if I'm blind or not.
So Nick finally completed the rework of GFWA? Or is this one Github like it?
Ben SiegfriedMemberYes, Carrie, thank you. That specific part of the demo instruction wasn't clear to me. Do you create Home Communities as a Post or Listing? And then how does it select the posts? I'm looking at it like I can select a category from within it but I don't see a drop down to select a category?
Ben SiegfriedMemberThanks. I can understand that but as it is set up do you create a Post for each listing, install the Communities widget in the Home Communities section, and those posts will just show there? So far, I've only ever used Featured Posts Widget or the Advanced Featured Posts Widget (which doesn't like to play with html5 sites).
Ben SiegfriedMemberTry removing backstretch-set.js from the js directory.
Ben SiegfriedMemberIt also depends on the background image you have. I see that you have different background images coming in for different pages. Basically, if you want the same background refresh delay appearance you have to have the same image appearing site-wide. The image is delaying and then fading in.
//jQuery(document).ready(function($) {
//$("body").backstretch([BackStretchImg.src],{duration:7000,fade:1000});
//});
Here, in this example, I have a background-color set by the theme's Green theme color (I customized the bg from what the theme had it set at by default, and changed the color of the green to be the green that I want). Then, I have the Island (a .png with transparent background) coming in. So, the blue is a CSS background-color, and the image is backstretch jQuery but has a transparent background.
The background-color selector for the 'theme color' you choose in Genesis Settings is located in that area of the CSS where that color's CSS is found. If you choose no theme color and leave it default, then it defaults to I think the body tag, but if you choose a theme color then the background-color becomes the theme colors background which is found in THAT color's CSS. This is where it can get additionally confusing. As you can see below, I customized the bg to be that blue. When you're changing the theme color in Genesis Settings you're changing the body class for the background color. So if you're going to the body tag instead of body.agency-pro-my-theme-color-choice then it could get confusing.
body.agency-pro-green {
background-color: #B9E5FA;
}
Ben SiegfriedMemberAnita,
Did you release your free version? Where can I go to download it?
