    After following Brad's tutorial, I had the same problem.

    In the Style.CSS, I scrolled down to the Media Queries section and found several left over references to footer widgets 4-6, and two more width references. I deleted the lines for footer widgets 4-6 and re-set the width. That seems to have fixed the width issue in desktop browsers and from my mobile browser, also.

    Thanks, Brad, for the great tutorial. It was very clear.

    Using it, I was still having trouble with the width. Oddly, from Internet Explorer, it looked right. In Firefox and Chrome, it still looked narrow.
