    Hi,

    You are on the right track re: media queries. first, if it doesn't already exist, you'll need to add a media query that matches your phone's screen size. There are several charts on the web that will give you the exact measurements. As it comes out of the box, I don't think Lifestyle Pro covers your specific screen size. Once you add the media query, you'll adapt this line:
    .nav-secondary
    and add the properties you need for that, including font size.

    Hope this helps,

    Hi Kamlesh,

    When you set up the theme, did you follow the demo setup instructions on the StudioPress site? You can get to them by logging in, going to your downloads, and finding the link to the setup instructions that is near your theme's download link.

    Hope this helps,

    Hi,

    Cleaning this up is going to be more than just removing code from your theme's header. You have a few options, but before you decide which of these to follow, make a complete backup of everything as it stands now. This includes everything to do with WordPress, server logs, basically the whole website. Keep this backup somewhere because you'll be referring to it later.

    1. Clean the site up yourself if you know what you're doing. This is time-consuming and requires knowledge of how WordPress works, how servers and websites work, and how security works. This is because you not only need to clean this up, but you also need to prevent the same hack from happening in future, and that requires hardening your site or sites if there are subdomains involved, as well as monitoring. If you're not comfortable with any of this, then you need to
    2. Hire someone to do it for you. As I mentioned, this is time-consuming, very technical and sometimes manual work, and can take most of a day assuming the hack's a simple one. It also includes the hardening and monitoring I mentioned earlier. I provide this service, and you can contact me or reply to this thread if you have any questions or need further help.

    Hi,

    You can add text to the top of the blog template like this:
    1. Copy the page_blog.php template from the root of the Genesis folder.
    2. Add it to your child theme's folder.
    3. Add the following line just above genesis(); add_action( 'genesis_loop', 'genesis_standard_loop', 5 );
    4. Add text to the page by editing it in the pages screen of your wp-admin.

    Hope this helps,

    Amanda

    Hi,

    You'll need to create a custom archive for this, as well as use a custom loop and add some code to your functions.php to control the excerpt length and which post it shows for. If you're not comfortable making the code adjustments yourself, you may want to look into hiring out the work.

    Hope this helps,

    Hi,

    To change the height and width of the header, see the following code:
    //* Add support for custom header
    add_theme_support( 'custom-header', array(
    'default-text-color' => '000000',
    'header-selector' => '.site-title a',
    'header-text' => false,
    'height' => 120,
    'width' => 320,
    ) );

    In the lines for height and width, change the numbers after => to your desired sizes.

    Hope that helps,

    Amanda

    Hi,

    I don't know if this is the best place to post this question, but I'll do so anyway. I'm trying to conditionally display the time and date a post was published. I'm working with the Metro child theme, and have enabled post formats support. But for the shorter posts like statuses and asides, I want to display the time and date a post was published, while for standard posts I don't want to display the time and date at all. Is this possible?

    Thanks.

    Hi John,

    I just looked at your site and am not seeing any artifact links, unless you're referring to the top of page link. I looked using IE. Is that the link you want removed?
