So if I do use the positioning and z-index would I add it to the comments (post info) section because if I did it to these 2 classes:

.featuredpost img,
.post-image

wouldn't it overlap all text on ALL post images? Sorry for the dumb question.

OK that worked but it does not do the whole wrap. It only does the width of the header. I added it to the #header .wrap as well and does not change it.
